Damn the Aston with processing is a BEAST!! So clear while still capturing the depth of your voice. I see why so many people like it. The TM1 though was really good sounding and my second favorite in this comparison. The spirit on the used market is pretty affordable for a premium sounding microphone Just checked and at guitar center they have several used Spirits going for $199
The Aston Spirit does sound the best but they all sound good in their own way. The 512 sounds pretty similar just a little different, not quite as bright. As for the Behringer it really comes down to what sort of sound you're looking for. If you're looking for a bright sound the Behringer is a good pick and if you're looking for a smoother sound either the Aston or the 512.
The Behringer made me sit up in my chair and listen to what you had to say. It makes your voice command attention like a national radio announcement. I don't own one but maybe I need to. The others are okay but just more brands of vanilla.
Aston Spirit and Origin are legitimately some of the best looking mics out there. The Spirit also sounds really good for a $400 multipattern. Don't think I'd take over any of several cheaper hyper/super/cardioid mics if I wasn't gonna use the multipattern feature though.
The off axis was really good on the spirit. They all sound good and the Behringer would be great for someone just getting started on UA-cam. If you’re making bank with voiceovers the Spirit would be a better choice.
There's something unpleasant to me in the muddiness of the 512. That may have as much to do with my computer speaker (a JBL Flip) as anything else. I'll listen again with good phones and through larger speakers.
Hi, awesome mic reviewer! Is it worth pepay for Zoom ZDM-1 (65$) over Behringer XM8500 (30$) for audio-streaming? And M-track Solo for it or Behringer UMC22? Thanks and keep doing your mic-work!
Thank you so much! Xm8500 is almost too good at the price. Zoom zdm1 is nice...but I'm not sure it's better. Go with the BEHRINGER and the m-track solo
Can you please do a comparison between the at2020 and Behringer tm1 because I’m having a hard time on which one I should get and planning to do music with one of the mics but don’t know which one to choose, if u can help with this thank you!
I found someone selling used NT1a for ~$180 and a new TM1 for ~$136 here in my country (Indonesia) if you were me, what will you get? the purpose is to make an ASMR video just like in my channel.. Thanks! edit: now I use Samson C02 and it's SUPERnoisy so I need an upgrade to reduce post processing time and degradation
@@ObscureMics I like a crispy microphone so the Behringer sounds good to my ears. I do have to admit I like the spirit as well. Quite a jump for me $100.00 or $400.00...
They all sounded good, and the Behringer sounds good enough that I couldn't justify paying more for the other two.
Crazy shit! But true. I love it
When you’re mixing you can definitely tell lol
Behringer sounds pretty damn good.
Absolutely does
sounds very clean
Nigel and Percy are pleased I own an Aston Spirit, oops almost forgot to mention Dorkus (such a lovely lady).
All of them sound great, but for me the Behringer sounds more clear due to treble frequencies.
Can't disagree

Cant go wrong with those aston condensers. I DO still think the TM1 is a heck of a mic for 129

Definitely all 3 sound good at a minimum

The BEHRINGER definitely is clear and pronounced. I appreciate you watching multiple videos.
t purchased the 512 for $50 on amazon(Brand New no refurb) and I love it for pod casting however, the Beringer sounded the best to me.
Good deal on the 512. I like all 3 of these...depending on the voice of course
Oooh I love a versus series. I didn’t listen with cans but the difference was negligible, the Aston was just a bit crisper.
I need to do the opposite of a versus.....and do a collaboration...what ya say Tams?
i think without using headphones, it's difficult to tell the difference between any microphones over 100$

Good thought. And yeah I don't love paying for multi patterns....bit I will say it's a dang good sounding mic
@@ObscureMics if I was in the market for a multi and I couldn't afford a KSM 44a it would probably be my first choice
Thanks for the comparison, just what I was looking for!
Awesome! Thanks for watching

Bingo! Tha ks for watching
Dang... Price went up on the TM 1. It's now $120

It is definitely the muddiest if the 3. But I think the clarity of the spirit and tm1 overplay it for the 512
Tm1 is the hero.
For the money... Absolutely

I no longer have either but I HIGHLY recommend the TM1 WAY over the at2020.
Agree 100%
Behringer tm1 or audio technica at2020?
TM1 all day
Hello ! At what level among these would you place the MXL 770 X in terms of sound quality ?
I'd say $100 level

Honestly love the TM1
@@ObscureMics any particular reason beside its price?
It's quiet...super quiet. Clear and clean...it's impressive. I see no reason to pay more for the rode
The Behringer sounds like the spirit. The 512 is dull
Dull can definitely be used to describe the 512....that's fair
