Great Video! Can i ask you what editing and screencapture software you are using? Thanks for charing👍💪

It's called "live Screen Capture" which comes with Titanium Toast software. I'm editing on an iMAC. I did have a good screen recording set up from the apple store but they stopped using the Apple platform and put their prices up too,...it was called Telestream Screenflow. Very good App but costs £129 for the basic package now. This one now I am using is a cheaper version that has trouble recording sound and can't be edited once recorded as the Screenflow can.
. What editing software are you using Dan?

I've got an 11b800 code on a 2008 mercedes c320 diesel, says "The control deviation during rail pressure regulation via the quantity control valve is too high"
This is on the high pressure pump, will the fuel come out at high pressure replacing this valve?
Car runs perfectly, eml light only comes on when you give it the beans at around 60mph.
No stalling, idling problems at all,it's only at speed.

So being a cp1s3 pump that doesn't actually have a volume control valve, that's actually a pressure regulator on the pump aka DRV 😅

Just for clarity the Mprop or volume control valve controls the rail pressure by adjusting the volume of fuel allowed into the pumping chambers of the fuel pump, the DRV is a pressure regulator which creates a controlled leak on the high pressure side to regulate the pressure in the system

    Hi Mr Dan
Please coulde you explaine me whay some common rail systems countaine only metering valve and others containe a metering valve and pressure regulator
How does only a metering valve could control the pressure increasing without having troubls for exempl cp1h , cp3.
    thanks

The metering valve is found on the high-pressure fuel pump and the pressure regulator will be found on the rail. If they have a pressure sensor on the pump it is because they want to compare rail pressure with the pump output pressure. Or just as a convenient place to situate a sensor. Manufacturers do what they need to to get results.
