i had been putting off watching this for a while, just because i wasn't sure what you'd say about my favorite mj song. i'm glad i finally bit the bullet because this was a lovely watch. i had become such a fan of this song after i wrote an analysis essay on it near the tail end of middle school, i did a lot of listening and watching of the song and video. it's a shame i don't have access to that essay now because i got a great grade on it. i know a lot of fans (particularly on twitter) have their opinions about this song. some say it's a skip because it depresses them and that's fair, others sometimes write it off completely as just a really boring classical-sounding song. i, on the other hand, truly adore it when artists get as vulnerable as michael did here. that vulnerability and realness is also why 'history' is my favorite mj album. i'll try not to yap too much in your comments as i did under your video about the biopic, but i truly do appreciate that a fan's made a video on this song, so thank you :}

You know, I have been listening more and more to that album as I get older and I'm appreciating it much more. Songs like "Earth Song," "Stranger In Moscow," and even "D.S." are just absolutely incredible. You're right, it is his most personal album and it's all the better for it.
