I have black hair and I used poseidon to dye my hair. I didn't bleach it so I wasn't able to see the color since it didn't show up. Everytime I apply shampoo to my hair the color comes off 😞
If you washed your hair in hot water that is probably why either that or you're using a non color safe shampoo. Use a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner to make the color last and make sure you use lukewarm or cold water to wash your hair

Does it last any longer if you use the diluter instead of using white conditioner?
It is recommended to use the diluter for longer lasting color.

You are not supposed to shampoo your hair when rinsing arctic fox,since it leaves your hair deep conditioned no conditioner is necessary

I have used manic panic before but it smudged like crazy every time my hair was wet. I looked like a smurf :-( will this do the same??

Jenny Ekberg no, I’ve dyed my hair multiple times using Arctic Fox, I’ve never bleached it before. It’s never really smudged before other than the shower after the first time I’ve ever used it. But what I regret is my last time dying it I did use manic panic and it took like 3 hours to get a stable color and it ran out every time I got in the shower

well then you're not going to get a good result. I mean its just the facts. For those awesome colors you have to have bleached hair.
You'll likely see hues but it won't be as vibrant as if it were on lighter hair.

Hi I’m doing hair dye research for dying my hair at home and I’m not sure about volume developer, what the white stuff you mix the dye with is, and etc. if anyone would give advice that would be very helpful 👌🏻

While you still may see tones of the color, the lighter your hair, the better for best results.

I've been dying my hair a lot lately but it doesn't last very long. The most recent one only lasted about 3 washes and now it's such a light color it's almost grey. I have gotten it done at the salon too. About how many washes does this brand last?
Arctic Fox dye is awesome when it comes to long lasting. But it also depends on how much you wash your hair and how your hair reacts to dye,so it's different for everyone.
Anyaaa If you wash you hair 1-2 times a week with cold water the color will last longer. Also not using heat products like blow drying or curling helps color last. I've had Articles Fox last about a month before my purple started looking too pink. The Good Dye Young brand is also great & last long. Probably the brand that has lasted the longest on me is Ion with their Color Brilliance line.

It will work on dark hair;however,it will have a tint to it. I used Arctic Fox on my hair and it works just fine

Well, it's 100% Vegan (Non-GMO) and is Paraben, PPD, ammonia & peroxide free so it's likely she won't have a negative reaction. It is always recommended you play it safe and do a test strip first.
