Finally you've made this video. In your previous video, I was wondering about that pagoda on top of the rock.. I wonder how the old people manage to built it there. And surprisingly, there's even a shrine there. I'm amazed how they built it there with such conditions . Actually I found your channel by UA-cam recommendation as for I'm searching for haunted house/place 😂, and here I am became a fan after that.. and my first video that I've watched was "Secret Location in Singapore | Rediscover Singapore" that is a continuity video of this one. 🤗
Thanks for watching and the comments! In my previous video, i did film the opening entrance part but wondering "what on earth" when i saw the remnants, not knowing what exactly are those things. Until i watched some of the comments, esp the one from Azy (also invited by him), that made me wanted to explore this spot again. Frankly, i wasn't hopeful to find anything there as the opening is so narrow. Happy to find it and made this video.
@@AlleyCat888 most welcome.. I think there is so much more there that is yet to be discover.. I am happy that I found your channel.. hope to see more secret location review in the future yeah 🤗
@@AlleyCat888 btw..thanks for the pin.. I didn't expect that actually..im a bit shocked and yet happy.. never in my life I got "pinned" comments.. this is my very 1st time..thanks man . I appreciate it so much😄🤗
@@daenelfred3408 Happy to pin as you mentioned about last video and also the same kind of questions i had in my mind about that site, they are so on point and relevant! I hope to create more contents like this going forward, but you know, it is getting harder... will keep trying, stay tuned!
@@AlleyCat888 how I hope I can join u on adventures like that 😁 actually here in Sabah also got so many places like that that is yet to be discover, but yaah everything need to pay one, and cannot go inside one because of rules.. it is sad though. Of course there is the free entrance one, but I'm not sure if it still got an undiscovered area. Maybe it is there..or maybe there is nothing more 😂
I found out about your channel from the “I explored SECRET Sentosa caves and found this!” video. Was really impressed by the many undiscovered parts of Sentosa! I then started watching your other videos about undiscovered sites in Singapore and I grew to enjoy your videos and your channel too! Keep it up!
Thanks for watching and supporting my channel! 🤝 Always happy to know someone who had watched more than 1 video on my channel 😊I will announce the winners in 5 weeks time. So please stay tuned. Have a great weekend!
Found this channel through a recommendation on my Facebook. First video is this video The forgotten shrine of Pulau Ubin. This really got my interest, never realised there are so many interesting spots in our small country
Came to check out this video of yours as it was shared on The Wacky Duo parent blogger FB page. Astounded by your P Ubin discovery, very intriguing! Wishing your channel go from strength to strength. I will be checking out your other videos as well, now that I am a subscriber myself. =)

I found your channel through a video about secret discovery on Sentosa. I enjoy your content because I enjoy appreciating the local nature you have discovered for us. Some day I will also make a trip there to pay respects to the shrine. Hope you continue to make videos on exploring nature and pique our curiosity about Singapore’s natural beauty.

I was looking for things to do last year and came across your floating restaurant video, and since then have been checking out your videos after subscription. Love the explorer vibes! Your videos tend to make me google more about the history of the places and read up more about our little known history. For example, your Sentosa Caves video got me searching about Pulau Belakang Mati, learning about history of Sentosa that I don’t know about, like the Meishan Yeo clan. Well done and keep it up!
Thanks for sharing😄🤝. I really liked your spirit and inquisitive nature👍, spent time researching for the truth and history, very similar to what we are doing on this channel! 🤝 I will announce the winners in 5 weeks time. So please stay tuned. Have great weekend!

I found ur channel from the UA-cam recommended list HAHA. I do not regret clicking your video, this is an amazing channel. The first video I watched was the "SECRET LOCATION in Singapore" video! Hopefully one day I get to explore the same parts of Singapore as you do, all the best!

Great to see that you found this shrine! The first video I saw from you was the Exploring Sentosa Caves. I really enjoy your respectful attitude towards nature and being humble in giving credit to those who have helped you in providing information and hardware. I also really like your filming style, the first person POV really makes me feel like I'm exploring these places with you in the video as a guide. I'm looking forward to more videos from you! Im not participating in the giveaway event, I just want to express my gratitude to you
Thanks for watching, and the kind comments! 🤝🤝🤝. Greatly appreciate it. Happy to know that you liked my videos. Good demonstration of proper respect given on visits to religious sites. Many such sea-facing shrines amongst sea-faring people in the old days, to bless fishermen and other boat men from dangers. Some of which, such as this one, are only accessible by boat.
Thanks for watching and the sharing🤝 I really respect the shrine a lot, and a bit out of fear actually. The first thing i said (apart from "lots of respect"), was i come here in good faith, no offence! 😅
UA-cam algorithm got me to your video on the little caves around Sentosa, and being an avid adventurer myself, I always enjoy the gritty outdoor things like campfire, bushcraft cooking, foraging food and such. Even games, I prefer LARP game events instead of RPG mobile/PC games now, where it consist of the outdoors and camps. The last time I got onto a kayak or canoe for fishing was in Florida, and watching your videos makes me wanna hit the waters again, but I’ll need to get cert I suppose? Keep it up with the content!
Thanks for watching and sharing your experience! 🤝. Like you, I really wish to do something like campfire, camping over night kind of stuff, but permit is required for that sort of activities 😅 it will be really cool if i could do it solo (or with a partner) and film the entire experience. This is the first video of yours that I've watched, in fact came across it on Reddit! Really enjoyed it :) didn't know there were forgotten places like that on Ubin that are still accessible!

You inspired me in a way that I should get out of my comfort zone and explore places that none would dare to go, the first video i ever watch is secret location in singapore through a youtube algorithm, I thinking I should get a SUP board but I didn't think anyone would want to paddle with me.
Thanks for watching and sharing🤝🤝🤝. I would advise, just go for it! you will make new friends along the way. I didn't know Winson, Simon, Avik and other good ppl until i started SUPing. i think you should leave the idols/statues alone :D Heard that if these idols are not prayed to for a long time, 'wild' spirits can take the seat and occupy them!
Thanks for watching, and the comments! Yes, i dared not to change anything there. In fact, i didn't even pray on the return visit, i just kept saying "i came here in good faith, with lots of respect! No offence, no offence!"

Thanks for the comments. If not for filming, i could just sit at this location quietly all day long, and appreciate the nature, it is really beautiful. I would encourage you to try it if you have a chance to do so. SUP is really fun!
Use to serve for the PCG during NS and my Sirs talked about this place before, from the boat I can see the joss paper furnace but I have never seen the shrines before. Really cool to see them
Indeed, i got a shock when i saw two shrines there. I had paddled past that location about 3 times before that, but i had never paid any attention to the Guan Yin one (which is visible from the water). I guess i don't know what i don't know back then, and only decided to explore it after Urbex told me that it's worth exploring.
Most likely the god could have left the statues already. The colours on the statues have faded as seen in the video. I have learnt from another video, which featured a famous Taiwanese 'teacher' in this area, that if the face of the statues have faded, turned white, or turned green, then the god have left. Another sign is to check the back of the statues to see if there's cracks.

Been camping here in the late 80s to early 90s. It used to be a kelong built by prayers to pray Tua Pek Kong. Walking along the beach will lead to Old outward bound school. 😊
Amazing! 🤝 Appreciate if you can share more about how's it like in the past, eg how did you get there (ferried to Tajam directly? or to the main jetty in Ubin followed by land transport?), and anything interesting there? I am so curious
@@AlleyCat888 There is a slight change on the position of Tua Pek Kong. That place used to be a wooden flight of stairs. Tua Pek Kong and other gods were placed on the rocks. You are right. From the lighthouse till Tua Pek Kong statue, it was all “kelong” planks. I even climbed the rocks beside the brick burner to the very top of the rocks. Haha
@@AlleyCat888 To get there, my gang of friends went from Ubin jetty and walked there. Took whole day to reach. It was later one year when a boat from Ponggol jetty ferried the worshippers there and we began to go from mainland to there. 😊

The community tab is a good way to share rare photos, i wanted to share all the old photos in one go but YT configuration doesn't allow me to do that 😅 happy that you liked those old photos. I will announce the winners in abt 5 weeks time from the date of release of the video. So please stay tuned. Have a good day!
Haha, thanks for sharing🤝. It brings back good memories when you mentioned Winson, we just spoken over a call last night😄. I will announce the winners in abt 5 weeks time. So please stay tuned. Have a good weekend!
Now you have 5.1k subscribers! 🎉 Do you know if we can find the shrine through land...? First video I watched was your solo SUP to a floating restaurant. And to know that you only learnt to SUP last August. Admirable!
Thanks for supporting!🤝 I just learnt yesterday that it is possible to explore on foot, but probably not advisable as it is easy to lost your way there. Also thanks for participating. I will announce the winners in abt 5 weeks time, so please stay tuned. Have a good day! 😊
Found your channel through 'This cant be singapore?!' video! And have been watching ever since! Especially enjoyed the one with Simon Says, a great collab of both channels that I watch!
Hahaha, i am really happy to find someone who had watched the collab btw Simon and me! I loved that one a lot too, Sg Simpang is very beatiful, in my opinion, it is the best location to SUP in SG! You stand a chance to win a giveaway item. I will announce the winners in 5 weeks time, stay tuned! Have a great weekend 😊🤝
I found your Channel very interesting and the latest video that i watched is about the cave hidden in Sentosa You have an interesting Story that usually no one knows that it does exists in Singapore.Keep on vlogging because we would like to know more about the hidden Story of Sg.I wish i can get a giveaway Sir.

Hi. Been following u for a short time. My first video I watched will be the floating restaurant. Kinda unique as I never been to any Singapore kelong. Hope u can continue to create great content n enjoying ur work.
Thanks for watching and sharing 🤝 The floating restaurant one was a real adventure for mine at that time, because i'd never been to Pasir Ris Beach prior to that, let alone paddling 2.2km to that restaurant! I will announce the winners in abt 5 weeks time, so please stay tuned. Have a good night! 😊
First video I’ve seen was the Sentosa Cave . Pretty interesting bro. But my favourite video was the one of your discovery at Tajam. You are the first person and brave enough I’ve seen to go and find these places. Good job bro 👏🏻👍🏼
Thanks for sharing😄🤝. Tajam is indeed a very interesting site. I heard from an earlier comment that the rocks there probably resembles the Dragon Gate Tooth, which is very interesting. I will announce the winners in 5 weeks time. So please stay tuned. Have a great weekend! 😊
Man i think I'm getting inspired. Any idea how long it'll roughly take for 2 ppl to paddle an inflatable boat (eg Intex Excursion 5) from the point u usually depart to reach Smith Marine?
It took me about 40 min to paddle to Smith Marine from Pasir Ris Beach (near Ohana). I am not sure how long it would take to paddle on Intex Excursion 5 there, but should be ard the same time if not faster than mine (as i think SUP is slow, haha)
Hi Alley Cat! Chanced upon your videos only recently while searching for local adventures with the first being the one on sentosa caves & cliff. Wanted to ask what drone were u using for the aerial film? Amazing visuals. Never been to this part of Ubin. Great work! Keep it going!! 💪
Thanks for watching, and the comments 🤝🤝🤝. I used Mavic Air (the 1st generation). Do u drone too? 😄. I will announce the winners in abt 5 weeks time from the date of video release. So please stay tuned. Good night 😊
This is your first video that I watched which you left a link on r/Singapore. Believed I saw your Sentosa cave video link somewhere on FB, gonna pop over to watch that now. Hope can win DJI Osmo so I can start my filming adventure too 😆
Finally you've made this video. In your previous video, I was wondering about that pagoda on top of the rock.. I wonder how the old people manage to built it there. And surprisingly, there's even a shrine there. I'm amazed how they built it there with such conditions
Keep it up!

Really cool video man! Picked a beautiful day (days?) too, perfect conditions!
Thanks for watching buddy! Yes, this was filmed last month, the weather was super hot with little wind, perfect for SUPing! When i wanted to revisit it two weeks later, weather was bad with thunderstorm in the afternoon ard 3pm (during low tide for the day).

Great to see that you found this shrine! The first video I saw from you was the Exploring Sentosa Caves.

Thanks for the tips. Sorry your msg kind of slipped me by, and i only managed to read it now.

Since then, I find your video very niche and interesting, exploring Singapore unique places that are unknown to many on a mini raft with a paddle with a go pro and drone. Singapore Re-discover should find you to be an ambassador for them. Uncovering lost unknown places.Keep it up bro. Looking forward to your videos.😎
Thanks for watching and the supporting comments 🤝🤝🤝. The floating restaurant video kind of went viral, which was a pleasant surprise given that i only had 200 subs at that time😄. Also thanks for participating, i will announce the winners in abt 5 weeks time, so please stay tuned. Have a good day!
Thanks Alley for showing us a new, inspiring and great way to explore unseen part Singapore. What brought me here was the curiosity of of sentosa caves . I really enjoy your clips..cant wait for the next video.
Thanks for watching and participating 🤝 I will announce the winners in 5 weeks time. So please stay tuned. Have a good day!
This is my first video. Someone shared it on a FB Group. Thank you for sharing this discovery. Really cool~~!!
Thanks for watching 🤝 Happy that you liked it, hope you continue to follow this channel. Good night 😊
Thank u for the sharing, makes me want to walk around exploring our country too... Cheers!
Thanks for watching and the comments 🤝. Happy that you liked the video, please stay around for more going forward. Good night 😊
This is the first video I ever watched of yours and it's amazing!
Thanks for watching and the kind comments! 🤝🤝🤝. Please consider subscribing if you have not already done so. Have a great weekend! 😊
Chanced upon your channel, love it! Keep up the good content!
Thanks for the encouragement 🤝 have a good day, cheers! 😄
Amazing! I'll be following ur explorations!
Thanks for watching, happy that you liked it 😊
I found your channel while searching for Skyline Luge Singapore. Wanted to bring my parents there and your video was great in terms of showing how steep the slope was. Loving the family style vlogs. Hopefully one day I will be able to vlog like you and share my experiences with everyone. We need more local vloggers so that everyone can relate to the content.
Thanks for commenting 🤝. Haha. I finally found a person that watched my Luge video! I am very proud of that one, bring back memories of a good family outing (which is rare nowadays after the kids grown up). I will announce the winners in abt 5 weeks time, so please stay tuned. Good night 😊
Congrats Wiratha, you won a prize! Check out my latest video to find out which one you won!
@@AlleyCat888 Thank you so much for the giveaway! The selfie stick will be a whole new experience for me cuz I've always used my hand. Wide angle lens is pretty awesome. I'm using the GoPro Hero 3+ and wondering if i should upgrade to a newer model when we are able to travel again to vlog during holidays.
@@wiratha Happy to give away! My advice is upgrade! By the way, do you have an Instagram account so that i can private message you for the giveaway? Or you may add me in Instagram, my account name is alley_cat_1023
@@AlleyCat888 I've pm-ed you on instagram. thanks!
My first video was Titled: BlueSG 2020 | Rent a car to Changi Airport for less than S$10? | BlueSG review
Back at that time i was also looking for bluesg review, i love the exploration in the standing floating board! Awesome.
i wonder are there any nice places to explore at Punggol settlement/coney area.
Keep the channel growing! Awesome!
Thanks for watching and sharing! 🤝 Happy to know that subs from the Bluesg days are still with me 😄👍. There is an abandoned Haw Par Villa in Coney Island, which is worth exploring. You may check it out. I will announce the winners of giveaway in 5 weeks time, so please stay tuned. Have a great weekend!
I have been interested to know more about SUP lately and your first video that I watched was the solo SUP to the floating restaurant. Keep up the good work. From Melaka.
Thanks for sharing 🤝. Wow, from Melaka! I used to travel there very regularly when my kids were younger. I enjoyed the relaxing vibes there a lot. Always bought food products at 三叔公😄
Chance upon your video by chance based on UA-cam recommendations. First video was the SUP solo to a floating restaurant. I thought it was very interesting amateur filming and kudos to you to keep producing videos, I like to POV view and very unfiltered comments and views. I didnt know Singapore had such interesting places off track. Keep going, looking forward to the next video mate.
Thanks for sharing and the good comments, it is very encouraging to me! 🤝🤝🤝. It is quite challenging to film on water but i kind of loving it now, when the only choice is Gopro, it kind of force one to film with creativity and focus on story telling😄 Also thanks for participating, i will announce the winners in abt 5 weeks time. So please stay tuned, have a good evening!
The first singapore explorer im instrested in. Because the transportation you decide to use made it intresting. Keep making videos. More subs to come! Jiayou!!
Thanks, thanks for watching and supporting 🤝. SUP is really kind of cool, prior to that I had no water sports experience at all. Happy that you liked my contents, have a good day!
I think instead of clearing/cutting the leaves, you can adjust the plant to the back of the guanying
Thanks for the tips😄👍🤝
Thanks for bringing us places on your SUP! Hidden treasures we never knew of!
Thanks Alicia! I am happy that you explored that Avatar tree too😄🤝
Hi Alley Cat! Actually just found your channel last week when your Sentosa video popped up in my recommendations. Explored your other videos and really like them as I use to do a lot of Kayaking around Pulau Ubin last time, your videos inspire me to wanna pick up Kayaking again! Hopefully can win either the GoPro mount or the gimbal but anyhow still looking forward to more exploration videos from you! Keep up the good work!
Thanks for watching and sharing your experience! 🤝 I will announce the winners in 5 weeks time, so please stay tuned! Have a good weekend😊
Congrats Teddy, you won a prize! Check out my latest video to find out which one you won!

Very cool channel.. love what you do. I watch a bunch of hikelopedia videos(another channel about traveling in SG) and I think the yt recommendations brought to your channel. Then saw you again on reddit Singapore. Do you do paddling tours for newbies? :)
Thanks for watching and sharing. I watched Richard too! 🤝. I don't conduct tour on paddle boarding, but my friend Winson does. You can get his contact details in the Description of this video. He is the Chinese guy in the video. ua-cam.com/video/ifpMJLsoacw/v-deo.html

Hi, I enjoy watching videos about exploring Singapore especially places where places that is not known by many. Probably that's why your first video pops out in my recommended list. (Thanks to youtube algorithm). The first video I watched is the one about the floating restaurant...

@@Tigerzbeer Thanks for sharing insights of the Tajam Temple! 😄🤝🙏Had you taken ferry from Punggol to Tajam directly before? Any idea why it was demolished eventually? Sorry i have so many questions that're unanswered as not many people know about the history of this temple.
@@Tigerzbeer May i know which year did you visit? By any chance, did you take any photo? Or any of your friends did? So happy to know someone who had visited it before.
Its on my recomended
My first video i watched was your sentosa cave exploration.

Guys, check out the community tab as well where he post more amazing content such as old pics of the places he explored. Btw, your first video i watched is definitely none other than the Smith Marine floating restaurant. This channel definitely reveals a rare perspective of SG. As the slogan goes, Rediscover Singapore 😂
Thanks for participating 🤝. Yes.
The first video i watched is SUP with winson / rediscover singapore. Found your channel on my recommended page!

Do you know if we can find the shrine through land...?
First video I watched was your solo SUP to a floating restaurant. And to know that you only learnt to SUP last August. Admirable!
Thanks for supporting!🤝 I just learnt yesterday that it is possible to explore on foot, but probably not advisable as it is easy to lost your way there. Also thanks for participating. I will announce the winners in abt 5 weeks time, so please stay tuned. Have a good day! 😊
Found you on Reddit, and this is the first video of yours that I've watched!
Thanks for watching 🤝 Happy to see viewers from Reddit, welcome to my channel!

the first video i watched from you was the one where u went to the floating restaurant ! youtube recommended it to me.
Thanks for sharing and participating🤝. I will announce the winners in abt 5 weeks time, so please stay tuned. Have a good day!
Great content. A different perspective of many underexplored places in Singapore. Watched "SECRET LOCATION in Singapore!" Keep up the effort!👍
Thanks for watching and the comments! Good that you watched that video first, and now this sequal 😄👍 have a good weekend!
This is your first video that I watched which you left a link on r/Singapore. Believed I saw your Sentosa cave video link somewhere on FB, gonna pop over to watch that now. Hope can win DJI Osmo so I can start my filming adventure too 😆
Thanks for watching🤝 i will announce the giveaway winners in abt 5 weeks time. So please stay tuned. Have a good day!
