You are fabulous. Thank you for being you. I am self taught and I have been cross stitching for a while. I am benefiting so much from your instruction. Your lessons have absolutely enhanced my pleasure in stitching.
Thank you for turning me on to the Snag-Nabbit. After having it only one day, I lost it and I was lost without it. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when I found it in the fold of my couch. Love that thing.
Have watched you tutorials and wanted to say they are very well done. I have enjoyed watching them and also find your parking method quite interesting. As a fellow flosstuber who also provides instructional videos I would like to make one suggestion if I may. When you are listing your rules I would add one more and that is to maintain an even tension. An uneven tension will contribute to the column or page lines even when stitching on the diagonal. I am sure you have noticed when looking at pic on social media where stitches are pulled to tight and elongation the hole. Even our mood at a y given time can alter the tension of our stitching. If one is stressed for example they may be pulling stitches tighter than on other days when they are relaxed. As I said this is just a suggestion. Looking forward to your next video as we can all learn something new from each other. Wishing you success in your new journey and happy stitching. .............Karen
Thank you for the feedback and pointer! I've watched quite a few of your videos and have really enjoyed them in fact, now that I just skimmed your videos, I think I found my way to GoodReader from one of your videos which made things so much easier once I left paper charts and highlighters behind. I'll make sure to talk about keeping even thread tension.
This popped up in my feed. I have cross stitched on and off for 29 years all kinds of projects. Found your video very helpful so will now watch all your other ones. Looking forward to seeing 103
@@piros44 I just binge watched all your other videos. I love the way you teach and I can see its your passion. I learnt so much more . I have only ever followed kit instructions or just winged it . I have so many projects on the go and have not touched them for about 3 years. I have so many kinds of crafts on the go and never have enough time in the day . I must get back into my cross stitching . I have no excuse as my stand with my cross stitch sits next to me like an orniment. Looking forward to seeing more videos. As you love samplers and linen Jane Greenoff from The Cross Stitch Guild in the UK does lovely samplers. She also collects antique ones
I’m about to start my first full coverage. I thought about using a 25ct one over one but now I think I’ll switch to 18ct easy grid. 🙈 but I feel very prepared now. Thank you for your effort Laura. I really enjoyed the presentation. I didn’t know that there is such a tool for presentations. Really cool.
I'm so glad my videos have helped. The next one where I show my needle parking method should be posted within a week, hopefully, unless there's another weird thing crops up. I'm completely new to making videos and now that they're getting more complicated, I'm finding all sorts of problems, like audio drift. It's fun and I'm learning a lot but it can be pretty frustrating sometimes. Enjoy your full coverage. They're really fun and relaxing to stitch.
Again a very informative flosstube👍the arabesque lap frame is my 1st frame its very taunt if you know how to use it properly i have a flosstube assembling that frame😊 millennium frame or omanik is my dream frame😁 cant wait for your next😊🤗
Thank you! I ordered an Arabeska frame and am looking forward to trying it. I'll look for your video, thanks! I'll have the next video up later this week hopefully.
Thank you! I have a HAED on order and will do a video on setting it up. I'll also show how to stitch on linen in Cross Stitch 103 so keep an eye out for that if you'd like to try linen.
My question about the Arabeska floot stand... does the frame stay put when it is only sitting on the bottom pegs of the stand? Is there a way to clamp the frame to the stand?
Love your videos! I’ve been stitching for a few years but I’m self-taught so I learn a lot from you. Thank you. Btw, I don’t see your website listed. Can you update your notes with your website?
Been looking for a lap stand and, like you, I prefer scroll rods. I purchased Tomorrows Treasures lap stand and love it. Can you tell me if I can purchase the Velcro from any other source? Thank you for the wealth of information you provide.

You can get it on Amazon. You need the hook side for the fabric. Here’s the link for Amazon: amzn.to/3gmWhdv
I have always use the sewing method I guess you would not recommend that
