Great job as always! How about Humanoids from the Deep. Nothing To Hide
Breakout 1975 with Charles Bronson
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, also filmed in San Francisco!
And how about the 1987 film Stakeout filmed in beautiful Vancouver?
This movie I know. "Kojak...Bang bang!" Goldie and Chevy had chemistry for sure. "Seems like Old Times" is another good one. Thanks guys!
Awesome video ! 👌👌 Foul Play is one of my favourite movies, the Dudley Moore scene with the blow up doll 😂😂😂
*Haha. This movie (Foul Play) is super nostalgic for me (BTW, thanks so much for posting this video). Your channel's focus is definitely unique. 👍*
_The year was 1980 or 1981. I was a preteen & it was summertime... so I kinda had a lot of idle time on my hands. Our city had just been wired-up for this NEW thing called CABLE TV. LOL (and yes, it was a BIG deal). The Cable Company JUST had it installed that very morning & before my parents went to work that day, they said... "You boys better not spend all day watching TV (HBO, etc)."_
So of course, me & my older brother watched 4 or 5 solid hours of movies on HBO that day. Sure, it wasn't 'all day'... but it was definitely a large chunk of time. LOL We ended up watching these 3 movies:
*• Foul Play*
*• Grease*
*• The Longest Yard*
_Grease was my favorite of those 3 that day, but I do remember Foul Play being really funny. And of course, I had a big crush on Goldie Hawn & also Olivia Newton-John. LOL_
*And yes... I sure do miss those innocent (and much simpler) times. : )*
It's nice to see that many of the locations in SF has gotten greener.
Its my favorite film with half-hungarian Goldie. Thanks a lot and greeting from Hungary, Budapest
I'm half Hungarian also! On my mother's side......
Its great that the movie theater has not change much. So awsome
this is so awesome!!!...i love this channel!!!
My fav movie of all time! Spent a day in SF early 2000s going to various scene locations.
"I dont pick up strange men."
"....."
"So, why dont you try it" 😂
Thank you soooooo much for doing my movie request! This movie is one of my favourites, which I saw 3x in 1978 at age 11. The 2 Barry Manilow songs in the movie, was my introduction to him. I bought the Foul Play LP within the month at a cost of around $5.99. After this movie (and then eventually Amityville Horror), I fell in love with instrumental movie soundtracks, especially in horror/suspense films. I could have almost made this my life career, had I gotten some guidance and inspiration from anyone musically-inclined.
2 other movies I'd love to see done, is The Goodbye Girl (mostly filmed on the SW portion of Central Park Manhattan), and Amityville Horror (Tom's River, New Jersey). Take your time, no rush lol
I see the Amityville House (actual, not movie) all the time.
This is absolutely fabulous! Wow. A lot of work went into this video without too much recognition. Kudos to the creator!
Superb job. Salute to your passion
That was great. Great job, I can't imagine how difficult it is for you to find all the locations and right angles. Please keep doing what you do so well.
It’s not difficult. IMDb has the filming location addresses. Doesn’t take long to find the angle.
True that.
@@neilgodfrey2669 Well, please keep them coming, I rally do enjoy your videos. Thank you.
Excellent movie, it’s packed with action, comedy ,drama. The iconic part when Burgess Meredith and Rachel Roberts fight near the end of the movie. Classic part when Burgess Meredith throws a perrier bottle hitting the fake bishop in the temple, knocking out. This 1976 film is a 70th classic.
Ha, @0:45 I looked for that bench for hours one day. No wonder I couldn't find it. Nice work!
I love this channel... Congratulations for the work! hugs from Brazil 🇧🇷🇧🇷.
Just posted on the Facebook group San Francisco remembered
Absolutely love it!!! You are so awesome at what you do. I really enjoy seeing these then and now of different movies. Please continue to keep doing these type of videos!!! 👍😊
Wonderful job! Tks!
So cool!! Thankyou !
Always fun to watch your vids. Big fan! Greetsz from Europe the Netherlands arnhem 🇳🇱
Really fun movie! Thanks a lot for this video.
Thank you!
SUPERB !
Can you find the locations from the 1983 movie breathless? Your channel rocks 🎉
good
It's funny, the drive along the coast during the credits wouldn't actually be possible once Goldie picks up the hitchhiker as it is done the WRONG WAY on what is now a one-way section of Conzelman Road.
I thought she was driving south on Highway 1?
Which is funny since the house party where Gloria meets Tony is in Belvedere, on the other side of the peninsula. But makes for a scenic opening!
@@RobertWF42 She said she is going for a drive "along the coast."
What is shown in the opening credits is Field Road continuing on to Conzelman Road in the Marin Highlands.
Perhaps it wasn't then, but the last section shown is currently one way going NORTH, but she is driving SOUTH.
A few other locations where we don't have exact addresses are the house party in the opening scene (in Belvedere, across the Bay), and Tony's houseboat in Sausalito.
Cool 🎉
You should do 1977 and 2023 . By writing 1977 and now is confusing for people watching in the future
At the 5:35 mark, they're still trying to rebuild "Luigi's Ristorante" lmao
Hey Jesse, when does "French Connection" premiere? 😍
soooon....
(it's a big one)
@@Reshoots Indeed, it was! 15 minutes long! Well worth the watch! Which state does your next project take you to now?
@@andreiter You were fast! That video went public by mistake, you may have noticed a few bugs, ha. Final version is now up.
I still have some footage from Florida, NY, California, and New Mexico movies to put together and release. As for the next state, I'll likely be sticking around home for a bit, and get some Seattle and Oregon movies done.
Next major trip will hopefully be international, but still in early planning stages for that.
I see movie theaters haven't changed much 🤷
Nice job!
that music was creepy as hell
Je n’aime pas que les choses changent, c’est triste!
Cars and fashion is what determines time changes. That's why you can't tell the difference between about 2005-2023 in cars or even fashion. Everything looks exactly the same. Buildings on the other hand can be wiped out viciously without a care out of laziness. Mainly because single family homes have 2-3 families of 15 in them now when it was meant for 3-4 people. Sickening.
4:10 something tells me you’re filming the wrong doorway!
Ha. It's the right doorway, but yah it's odd that the number is different now.
2:45 if that really is the same location (and given the quality of this channels videos, I'm sure it is), the persons responsible for demolishing the old building and constructing the new one should go to hell.
Before Chevy was a c**t
