Wow, a kite review that was detailed, helpful, and does NOT sound like an advertisement. Other reviewers could learn a thing or two from you. Thank you!
Thanks for the feedback. I’ll get back to the water soon and record some more videos. I’m now with covid so I’m unable to leave the house. I’ll try to get my hands on the 2022 orbit and make a review vs the reach.
Is there a big difference between the 9 and the 10 meter ? I normaly don‘t have over 25 to 30 Knots at my local Spot, more likely below that but i also want to learn kiteloops. Is there a big disadvantage with the 10 ?
HI Elit, i didn't test the 9m just the 10. It shouldn't be a huge diference i would probably go for the 10 if it was up to me. No disadvantage with the 10 in my opinion.
@@KookProofActivityCenter loops very well for a 10 meter ;-0 do you have ride the 2021 already? like to see the difference between them Regards, Richard
I meanwhile bought the 9m and i love the kite. Preferred the smaller size as you can get so much more out of speed than size that i just went for the 9. It’s by far my preferred kite to ride in powered days. I’ll receive the 2021 in a few days in the same size so I’ll make a video comparing the 2 so you know in detail what has changed and if it’s worth to change. I’ll probably also have some other sizes and some carve to test out so I’ll check them and try to make videos about them. Stay tuned.
Excellent review! It really helped me with my decision which kite to buy :) The only thing that I think would improve it were if you had subtitles when you were talking while riding, as I couldnt really understand you because of the wind. But I loved it nonetheless, keep going!
Glad we could help. I sometimes put subtitles on the videos, but it-s a good tip on these cases that the sound is not great. Thanks for the feedback. I love the orbit for powered rides.
If you want a jumper kite, that is your kite. It's designed for strong wind, so it isn't great in low wind. If you are looking for an all-around kite, instead go for the reach. I'll put out a review of it soon.
I asked around what that was for as i didn’t know it myself. It’s designed for you to carry the hydrofoil. This way, the mast stays on the rubber patch and helps to keep it there without hurting on the shoulder. Since i am not foiling much, i didn’t know.
Hi, i think i saw you in July on the Esposende Spot. You did kiteloops and grab with an orbit 9 meters ? I was with my 9 meters white Evo and it was difficult for me during landing because the wind was not correct for Evo and my kite sometimes turned too slowly. In this video, What is the size of your kite ? I wouldlike to buy 8/10/12 meters. I wanna do kiteloop with the 8 and the 10 when the wind is nearly at 25 knots. Thx a lot for your review !
Yes it was me with the orbit. I saw you lopping the kite. Nice ones. Try the orbit I didn’t feel so much fun in ages until I started using the orbit. I was with the 9 but I have tested the 10. For 25knots you can go with 10. But speed is more important than size. I think the orbit is a kite to ride powered. I would get the 10 and 8 with orbit, but the 12 I would change for the reach.
I think the reach is easier but I never had issues with either. The reach I use with beginners and never had issues. The orbit I don’t usually have beginners using it.
@@KookProofActivityCenter thank you for quick response. I am considering purchasing either of these two models. Unfortunately, the Reach is not available in the size of 14m
The reach is available in size 14. I can order it in green only however. The reach is the best overall kite I know. I mostly use the reach for most things. Only take the orbit to fly high.
@@KookProofActivityCenter thanks for the info. Tomorrow I will be at the nearest distributor and I will have to choose something. I had the opportunity to ride a bit on the Reach 15 so I was looking for info about the Orbit model.
@kook Proof Activity Center. Your video is knows but I am sorry your review is not critical at all. All kites have their weaknesses. The Orbit 2020 in particular, does not do well in light winds and is not the most stable in gusts. Hence the 2021 new model that aims at correcting those problems. You are a shop and rental fair enough, but a bit more critical review and pros and cons would add so much more credit to your nice videos.
I have the 9 ms and never had much problems. I do not use it in light winds. I already did a review of the 2021. This review was made right after a few rides. I try to be as true to myself as possible. In the future I’ll include opinions of other less experienced riders. Thanks for the input.
Man!! Great review.

Thanks so much for taking the time to send a message. It means a lot to me. Glad you liked it. More videos are coming soon.
We missed you and need to see more content. Could you compare the Orbit and the Reach? That would be appreciated.

Sure. Send me one and ill do it. Never saw one around.
