I did plant or grow my orchids on the woods/ trees and they grew and thrived very well. They bloomed large flowers BUT they all died during wintertime. How do you protect them on wintertime?

We don't protect them where we live on the border of USDA Hardiness zones 10A and 9B. They seem to be protected by the trees. We get freezes but they are brief.

Florida is semi tropical right? There are plenty of UA-cam creators who reside there and keep their orchids outdoors with no problems, so they say. From my understanding is that the weather there is always nice n warm, with a lot of humidity.
