Remember when Disney Channel would have music videos on the commercial breaks? This needs to be one of those. Somebody go back in time and get this in the Gravity Falls finale.
This song is just so beautiful. It brings back such a nostalgic memory of both Gravity Falls and 2012. It doesn't feel like that time was so long ago already, yet here we are. 2012 was just such a fun time. I have so many fond memories from that year. And Gravity Falls IMO, being a 2012 cartoon and one of the last from the old Disney Channel era, just has that childhood nostalgic factor that not really many other cartoons capture. Mystery, lore, etc, are all amazing, but it's that nostalgia factor that makes Gravity Falls stand out the most for me. It's a show that just feels like a summer memory that you long to experience over and over again, but is best remembered rather than repeated. GF basically ruled the world once. I've yet to see a cartoon on the same playing field with a fandom that can rival how big GF's was once, or have the same effect nostalgia wise. That's what this song is...a wonderful memory.
Fuck Snoop Dogg, fuck Justin Beiber, fuck Selena Gomez, fuck PSY, fuck The Living Tombstone, just put Ken Ashcorp in charge and he'll show you how the fuck it's done.
I didn't know what pinecest was then I looked it up on google I threw my phone in the trash and burned it with a lighter and airosal can when I saw the first picture and ran away screaming GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD WHY DID I EVER THINK TO LOOK THAT UP GAWD DAMNIT GAH I JU I WANNA RIP MY EYES OUT JUS UUUGGGGHHHH

This song is incredible, it's like it was *designed* to be nostalgic, I really feel all the passion and melancholy through every aspect of it. Dude, this awakens all kinds of feelings within me and I absolutely love it, thank you so much for making this song.
Me too, I heard this song long ago, never knew were it was from, but I loved it, never found were it came from, but lately I found ken's channel and I love it, I'm sure to subscrive.
isaac anderson I know what gravity falls is, the song is not from gravity falls, the song is inspired by gravity falls; the song is from ken ashcorp, wich is the creator of this channel.
Xero0 I know that the song is by Ken Ashkroft i thought your statement of "never found where it came from" meant you didn't know where the original source material came from, my mistake.
Just wanted to say this song literally helped save my life by giving me the motivation to turn it around. I've listened to this over 9000 times and it always puts a smile on my face so thanks Ken!
Spotify rolled into "Burgz" out of nowhere and all I could think was "Isn't that the same voice, from that awesome Gravity Falls song that I haven't heard IN FOREVER?"
It's weird coming back to this song remembering the days where I would play video games as a teenager on a hot summer day with all the windows open listening to this on repeat. There is a part of me that wishes I could go back back to that, while knowing that even if I did it wouldn't be the same. At least I have the memory to look back to.
"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind If I can't see then I can't find these things that're out to get you" I really love that line... it was very clever
Why am I just finding this? This inspires me so much because I live in Oregon and there's actually some of the weirdest shit here. The substitute teacher I had last week didn't have a last name and he owns a tourist attraction called the Woodstock mystery hole. Crazy what you can find in Oregon..
I've become addicted to your music. These last few days I've been listening to these songs and they really put me in a better mood. Thank you so much for all the smiles you give me when I listen to your music
I really like this song, It has a unique feeling of Nostalgia that I really dig. nails that, more knowing that It's based on Gravity Falls and... My god that show is now (at the time I'm writing this) 12 years old and I'm still remembering vividly.
This is honestly such a relaxing song. When i got into Kens music a lot of what i heard was pretty loud and energetic, but nowadays im more into those quiet songs. This is amazing music and never fails to bring happiness in my life. :)
I don't usually do comments like those that have to do with songs being memories for someone, but I think I should say it anyway. I was listening to Take me home while writing a letter to my younger brother as he was now enlisted in the army (intentionally, not drafted), and I figured I'd listen to Supernatural, the song that first introduced me to Ken Ashcorp while we bonded gradually. Can't believe that hearing that would make me tear up as I realized how much I miss him. Thank you, Ken Ashcorp, for eventually being the nail in the coffin for the age-old sibling rivalry, so to speak.
And here we are, 8 years later, at a song that personally impacted me greatly. I believe I saw this and was like “whats gravity falls” and looked it up. That sent me on a heart felt roller coaster that introduced me to my favorite show of all time, and said show has influenced me as a person leading up to now. Thanks Ken, you’re song took a scared kid who loved monsters, and helped make them someone not afraid of the dark anymore, metaphorically and literally. Much love!!❤️
God this is a nostalgia trip for me. I remember listening to this song so much when I was younger. It really helped me through some tough times. Crazy to think that was almost a decade ago already...
Took me 8 years to remember this masterpiece but in my head it clicked “in this sleep state of Oregon” and I’m SOOO happy I remembered. Thank you for the music Ken ❤️
This feels like a teenaged Dipper reminiscing about Gravity Falls, and wanting to go back to see everyone again, to make sure everything’s okay. To make sure Bill and the others never come back. It sounds like Mabel is trying to convince him to run off with her back to Gravity Falls, because she knows that he wants to go back.
Gravity Falls was such a beautiful cartoon, and I really wished it could go on for a little longer. This song reminds me of it so much. And the tone of the song fits the whole Northwest theme, at least for me, since I live in it. I'll never forget what a great cartoon it was and how much it impacted my art. Thank you Ken, for a beautiful song, and thank you Alex Hirsch for an amazing experience and journey.

The fricken feels, I miss that show so much, by far one of the best cartoons Ive ever had the luck of watching. Cant stop re listening while I work cant believe its 5+ years old, thanks for the awesome song Ken.
Oh my gosh, I didn't remember what this song was called, nor did I remember any of the lyrics, but I just remembered that there was a fanmade song for GF that I loved and it had something to do with "Tolstoy". Now that I've finally tracked it down again I can look back on the good times and smile. I love this song so much; it's captured the essence of Gravity Falls and everything wonderful about it.
csiampos nice job finding it then
Almost the same thing happened to me

Amazing seeing how refined your style already was even literal years ago, and how far youve refined it in recent work. You've been doing this for a long time. Lot of respect, you're an inspiration, goofs and all
Ken has indeed gone a long way, but his recent tracks seem a bit overproduced imo.
My brother showed me this song when I was a lil lad and it was literally my anthem this song means so much to me I'm so glad I found it again
