Came here after watching Alexas 4th place finish at the Olympics 😭😭 Somehow her winning the bronze here makes me really happy. Being the first ever Mexican woman to win a world medal in gymnastics. I was so heartbroken when she placed 4th! 😭😭 Still very proud of you Alexa for also being the first Mexican to get into an Olympic final. Rooting for you at these worlds! ❤️
I was so sad to see Oksana miss bronze by 3/10ths but within less than a minute just ECSTATIC for Alexa Moreno!!! How amazing must that feel to be the FIRST PERSON EVERRRR for your nation to medal in a World Championship?! AND while competing against Simone Biles, so, I mean, before you even START, u basically already know there's really ONLY silver & bronze up for grabs cuz gold's Already spoken for lol
I’m sorry Tim Daggett but Alexa’s second vault is not a Kasamatsu style. It is a real and authentic Tsukahara double full. She enters the vault with her right arm and then twist to the left. Which is actually more difficult than the Kasamatsu. (Almost all gymnasts today do Kasamatsu, except for alexa) unfortunately, they both have the same start value in WAG

These commentators are so annoying, I understand that Simone Biles is an incredible gymnast but I'm trying to appreciate the other gymnasts but all I hear is Simone Biles the and Simone Biles that
Where are the British commentators? Nastia and Tim just talk about how good Simone is and how bad everyone else is compared to her. I love Simone, but the other gymnasts also work very hard. British commentators recognize and respect all the work behind it.
It's a competition and she is the best in the world. Their job is to explain to layman how the gymnasts perform and how they compare to others. When simone clinches the gold, they have to explain how the other vaulters are good but cannot meet the number one! It's called sports broadcasting! It's called the basics of competition!
