I have 2 Modernes-1 Gibson and an Epi. I also have a Corvus. I love odd shaped guitars. Surprisingly, I prefer the Quadrata over the Zenyata. Both are neat guitars.
The world needs more Rivolta in it! Those are some awesome shapes that shouldn't look this good on paper, but they do!
Zenyata and Quadrata both look awesome - some nice nods to some classic designs, with a twist. They also look well-made and sound good in your brief demos.
I like the Mondata Baritone VII. This guitar sounds just great! 🤘

I think if Rivolta or Novo would launch the Theodore people would actually like it. More if is with some funky metallic colours and a P90+ Humbucker combo.

I’ve been obsessed with everything Rivolta has released since they came out, with an exception of that ugly double horn with the oval shaped pickguard they just released…

I think Gibson stopped innovating a few decades back. They rely on the reputation of the bands and players who used Gibsons decades ago, and now they don't seem hunger anymore.
Conversely, Rivolta seems hungry to innovate. I mean, think about it. Who would go, "What if cut a guitar body in [insert odd shape] here?"? Rivolta would.
Agreed, Gibson will be fine for a few years until they aren’t. By this time, all the top management will have made their money and be elsewhere

@@SamBrockmann oh, I'm agreeing with you. Gibson of 1958 would have said, "what if?" and it really doesn't seem like they're doing much of that at all now, and haven't for many years. Of course, back in 1958 the new shapes were a failure; they only became popular in hindsight. But I am really encouraged by companies like Rivolta.

Not quite sure that Gibson needs to worry tooooo much about these! Qwerky is fun 🙂 but rarely has longevity, a la Les Paul.... However, looking at the website, the DUOCATA JR has a certain je ne sais quoi about it! I am such a big fan of a Jr, particularly the DC Jr na dht Duacata Jr makes me go hmmmmm! You know, like other things can make you go hmmmmm 🙂
These guitars have me believing in tone wood again, use to think it doesn't matter.

$1,700 for the plastic coated import Zenyata. Insane. There's nothing there at all to justify that. NOTHING.

Rivolta is a VERY unfortunate brand name. When I hear it, I immediately think, REVOLTING!
So, they have the "Zenyatta" and a couple of other "-attas" but no "Mondatta?" If one has "Zenyatta" shouldn't you also offer the buyer a "Mondatta" to go with it? Andy Summers of The Police will be EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!
