GOOD JOB
64xs and the starter still works 😂😂😂😂
I replace those weak starters Al the time.
I may have to upsale the starter with the key😂
Hi what u will do if u changing A used CAS 3 comes with the key from A junkyard please let me know thanks
I would repair original or at least try and get eeprom from it. If have no original its a lot harder to make a used replacement work.
How you woke up this E90 without key to get connection via OBD? Thanks!
The scan tool woke it up.
what connected to the car obd cable or what please explain all used and how there connected
This job was done through obd2 with the autel im608 tool.
hello sr , how many times you was sync DME , on the las step?
because i was not able to start the car after the 15 minutes 😢 hope you can answer me
Maybe pull codes see if its problem somewhere else
hello i have the codes 2f49 and CDA4
Hey I was doing same car today but I keep getting the same problem where you got at 10:20 seconds (did not find the right data….) I Tried all but with no luck is there another way.
Also I did get the ISN code but I don’t know how use it to generate the key please help
Thank you
There should be an option in the menu to make key using ISN. Not sure where it is on IM sorry I usually just use tango if I have ISN
I’m having the same problem
Can it brick because of internet connectivity with the Autel server or just a drop in battery voltage?
I don't think connectivity issues would cause issues. Pretty sure the tool downloads temporary files to use before it tries to write them. Loosing internet connection would just prevent downloading next part or the routine. So you may need to start over. Low battery will effect things during the actually erasing/writing so can easily damage the programming. Machine cutting off of disconnected from car could cause issue's as well.
@@ecurepair okay , so a charge Autel and a fresh car battery should not be too risky ?
@@hdautos2983 Its better but there is still risk of corruption. Its always wise to remove CAS and manually backup the eeprom and flash data with a tool like xprog. Im old school tho so used to doing it like that. Maybe Im just biased. 97% probably will be fine, just need to know what do when one bricks .
Hopefully the first try works that’d be sweet!
A few moments later
So… on try 64 the car is now running
LOL gotta love it
Do u need the isn to program the key?
no, with this method it brute forces the isn at the end.
Just so we are clear and understanding this correctly, it told you to go get ISN and you said nah...lol.....added a key to open spot and it accepted the all keys lost. Correct? Also, with all keys lost, there was a Key 1 and a Key 2. Do those get deleted automatically and if not, shouldnt you go in and delete them after the fact? Thank you.
Can you obtain the key mechanical cut code from the vehicle information???
Yes the mechanical keycode is in the CAS data
Which battery-support are you using? +15v is extreme.
Looking for one on mobile purposes. Thanks.
I run one like this off the converter in my van: ebay.us/VdwdqY normally I run at 10 or 40A which will keep it around 13.5 but for some reason this BMW kept dipping below the programming threshold on 40a so I had it bumped up to 200 which is meant for starting. I planned to turn it back down but didnt want to risk it so just finished the process with it overcharging a little. I think that battery was shot anyway so dont think I could have made it much worse.
@@ecurepair okay thank you very much. So Schuhmacher devices regulates the Volt depends on the Amps which is currently used. I need one maintainer aswell. Thx
I killed the starter all keys lost on customer's BMW on the 32 try
That sucks.
Hi, I am having an issue after programming a new used oem key. I can start the car with the key inserted but the buttons on the fob dont do anything. Any ideas why the buttons dont work?
wrong frequency maybe?
@@ecurepair 315mhz just like the other working key, swapped battery in the fob, same problem.
Your flying by the seat of your pants hoping for the best. I would redo this video after you polish your technic. You look like me trying this stuff.
Nah, I know fully well what I was doing and how to fix it even if they brick. Just hadnt used the IM on one needing downgrading in awhile.
Is true that after you downgrade the CAS, it makes it impossible for the dealership/BMW to use their diagnostics tools on the vehicle?
By the way, just wanted to say your channel is great and the time you spend answering everyone's (often stupid) questions is really awesome. So thanks
Bro... I can't hear you. Speak into the Mike.
