  • @ap6232

    You're never going to get everyone to agree or even understand that the previous video was exaggerated to demonstrate the form more clearly. I run half marathon distances in minimal shoes with this form and have no issues at all with lack of efficiency or too much effort (two sides of the same coin). Thanks for the drills, those look helpful!

    I think you should do specific video about how to properly run long distance like marathon because I don't see much difference between 0:40 run and lazy legs from previews video (Running Form: Correct Technique and Tips to Avoid Injury)...

    • @connectas
      @connectas 2 роки тому

      In a similar boat. Between 1:53 (good) and 2:04 (lazy), I’m not sure what the technique difference is that makes the latter look so much more laborious. Just time on ground?

    A question for you Brad, when jogging with the proper running technique (cycling on hot lava), which is what i practice now, does the heel needs to touch the ground at one point ? I'm curious, since i saw your recent video about running drills in which you state that the heel must touch the ground at the end of the motion (before stepping up). Many thanks !

    • @lupinewoof
      @lupinewoof Рік тому +1

      had the same question when watching the video. It looks like his heels never touch both in this video and the intro running one.

    Beginner at sprinting female 63. To start off would it be advised to do just two of these high intense sprints? I of course do not want to become injured. My normal workout is at the gym 20 minutes elliptical or treadmill and then weight machines.

    So, this is whats been missing in my running development. I´ve been maf running and got into the habit of lazy legs. Now i practiced these drills and it feels like sprinting in a lower speed :) It is very natural somehow but i must force it still. I have one question, everytime i set my foot down it feels like im breaking, my foot slides abit forward on the ground making this scratchy noise and my foot slides forward in the shoe and i loose speed. Is this normal?
