Modders got you bro. Just look up bully texture pack then look up bully ray tracing reshade and you are golden. Modders do better work than some developers anymore. Just look at GTA mods vs GTA “definitive edition”

I miss this game so much! The game, the movie, and especially the book were my favourite fictional universes to visit as a kid. great work! Ill have to look into doing this so I can relive it.
I know the films are being remade into a new series but o honestly think the games need to be remade more tbh. Technology has gone a long way since they started putting out the games. And JK could look at making the games as close to the books as possible and not leaving anything out as well as the graphics being unreal these days. Now with how popular Hogwarts Legacy has become surely it’s worth doing

Nothing special if you are in the Harry Potter PC modding scene. The first three PC games were written in Unreal and some people started to implement the Unreal Editor back into the games as EA removed it to pprotect the maps from beeing modded. So today there are a lot of custom maps for HP1, 2 and 3.
I like how everyone introduces themselves, because there's no way you would have recognized who they were in the original game

Okay, here's a suggestion: take an old text game. The kind of game where "you walk into a cave", "you see a box", etc., and the mods translate that into visuals. I realize that I'm being a smartass, but just imagine if you could do that.
Now imagine what we can do with this game using Nvidia RTX Remix.

LEGO Island, LEGO Bionicle HEROES (Various Platforms, a lot honestly).

Startopia VS Startopia (Remake)
Halo: Combat Evolved, Portal VS Portal RTX, Tower of Guns VS Mothergunship VS Mothergunship Forge, and Sim Theme Park.

The 2000s had a lot of great games!
Not a Harry Potter fan, but the mod looks amazing 🤩 imo and feels a lot more real and immersive visuals 💪🥰👍. I’m sure game studios are catching on to the Ray Tracing, different AA implementations etc and looking at rereleasing old game titles with updates textures, graphics, features etc which I’m sure many would love ❤
To be fair this game is abandonware, you dont need to own it legally. There's no way to buy it new even if you tried
I would call the PS1 version the flagship version.
And then years later, the PS2 version.
Had to dislike because of the falsehood that all controls in all old games are bad, as well as that they don't look good. The color palettes from this game's era were beautiful.
Pls show us how the Lumos challenge looks like with raytracing. It has the most peculiar lighting in the game 🤩

I understand chamber of secrets was the beloved one but I still prefer how terribly broken the first game can get. Remember when the audio engine broke and Filch sounded like a demon? ;)

Nostalgia is a very good reason, you might try to contact Captain2phones (Michael Fisher / Mr Mobile) to see which games could be improve for his stream, "we" played with him on twitch so many old games and was great.
A collaboration video could be good for both of you also.

When is Nvidia studio thing going to start remastering games from community members?
original Deus Ex.... it was the first FPS that I played through the story 100%. Original Ghost Recon - I have probably close to 10,000 hours on that game. (I wish I was kidding) - 4 years of 6+ hours a day multiplayer, back in the days of self hosted servers.
the rtx feels better than the old version of harry potter 1 in fact i was growing up with all the 3 harry potter games on the pc versions that use unreal engine
A game with strafing? Madness lol I'm kind of surprised how well the makeover turned out though. I've never played the harry potter games before. Kind of looking forward to the new one that's coming out next yr.
You could catch up with the PS1 and PS2 games on emulators. Keep in mind, they're wildly different from one another. But the first 3 on any platform were easily the best, the 5th and 6th are also decent.
@@yrooxrksvi7142 Yep. HP5 and HP6 weren't as "magical" as the first 3 games but the full Hogwarts makes up for it.

@@akhil108 The problem with 5 and 6 is that they sacrificed exploration and wonder for a realistic immersion. Hogwarts is accurate to the movies, but gone are the secret rooms and passages and all those incredible dungeons from the spell challenges and whatnot. Order of the Phoenix manages to make up for it with cool minigames (Wizards Chess and Gobstones), but Half Blood Prince was pretty much a walking simulator with a broken dueling system and crappy on-rails Quidditch, but Potion making was nice.
@@yrooxrksvi7142 HP 5 was so tiring that I quit playing it at the third round. Like, for the heck who likes to climb the stupid wall for a stupid bird for 10 min? Magic system looks cool initially but became so boring and irritating half-way. It turns out to be a chubby reflection of movie in a 3d software. Maybe Harry Potter and Hogwarts Chore suits better in title. HP1&2 is legend. 3 is fine but ambient isn't good enough and everything looks like plastic. Others are trash.
@@harrylee9289 That's the thing, 5 and 6 sacrificed immersion and exploration for either walking simulator or being the school janitor. But what do you mean Prisoner of Azkaban looks like plastic ???? You're talking about the PC version, I'm talking about the PS2/Xbox/Gamecube version, which is MUCH better.

Does this download work and safe for Windows 10? Mostly asking because when i downloaded one from another UA-cam video it actually didn't work. Was safe but didn't work for Windows 10. Also may need to know what other settings may need to be changed in order to work right on Windows 10. Thanks and yes it defiantly looks more better as using wide screen

2 Orange 1 red? 1 orange 1 red? or 2 orange and the red is not mine? They have cases too, I think. 1 has none? Because I write some codes or notes or something on paper and stash that alongside the cards.
Just owning them even though I don't have PS1 (or PS1 Portable) have that sense of accomplishment now. No regrets buying them! They don't have batteries, the red might have? xD 🤔
P.S. Here on PH people go to malls or something to make someone modify their playstation back then, if it comes from Japan? To accept unlicensed? copies of Playstation games which is cheaper than the original?

Definitely a classic game for me but I thought the video was really going to show him combining the philosophers stone into Hogwarts Legacy I was really ready to have my mind blown with the combination of the two Hogwarts games concept until I realized he only talked about the game’s the idea of the concept sounds really cool, though modeling the philosophers and Hogwarts legacy together crazy to think about but cool 🥹
