Lumos is just a particle-no porting needed. Also, it natively exists in HP2. I did modify it to look a bit better, though. In my current map, I even added a thin outline so you could actually tell where the platform ends lol As for Filch, I'm going to rewrite parts of his logic to use the new (old, but fixed by M212) path node system so he's even more terrifying.

I definitely don't have any plans to do any remakes or anything like that, but if you liked this, you will certainly like the direction the final version of this map series takes. I released this version in an incomplete state since I knew it'd be a bit of a shame for it to go to waste, but the final version will be a completely different set of maps with a complete story and much better and more exciting level design. There are even more new spells and magic already, and I think it's turning out great so far.I'm really excited to release it (which hopefully will be this summer)! Recently, development has been great, but I've been getting busy with course work, so I can't spend as much time on it as I'd like (which is probably a good thing lol)
Thanks! I spend a lot of time working on small details that most people probably won't care about. For example, I spent a week working on Harry's animation code so that his animation doesn't get canceled if you wave your wand in the air or while running. I spent a decent amount of time making a system where you can buffer jumps, meaning if you press and hold jump within 0.25 seconds of hitting the ground, you'll automatically jump when you land and preserve your speed. I really like things like that, that make gameplay feel a lot smoother and more polished.
I'd love a modified version of the prisoner of Azkaban pc game with an expansion of the castle and grounds like from the ps2 versions. Also bringing back flight from the first game and being able to fly around the castle and grounds to find other secrets from above, mounting your broom from anywhere from the push of a button. The HP3 pc game just felt too small in scale. I ended up switching to ps2 after that as they stopped making pc versions since.
The stealth system reminds me of PS2 version's stealth system in a level which u had to sneak past a rude shopkeeper in one of the shops at diagon alley to collect Ginny's stuff
Brushwork, scripting and all of the features.. can't imagine the time you've put into this. It's outstanding! P.S. I like how it ends with a critical error message :D
I want this game made multi-player online. Everyone or you and your friends can run around school together in all these crazy custom spaces and have a good time of it

I was really impressed while watching this, but when I saw you implemented Carpe Retractum in HP 2 I was speechless. Incredible job done here!
The Sneak section was my favorite out of all the levels in HP1. Congrats for the map!

This was a sick map already. Love that you imported the HP 1 filch and lumos and some of the save book sounds. Very cool!

How do you install this? I copied the files to my hpgame folder and then it said it was missing a dll file.
