My whole family sat down and watched Ed Bradley, on his very first night on 60 Minutes. My Father wanted to make sure when didn't miss it, he thought it was important to see positve people that looked like us was on T.V. He loved him, and I hope they get to meet in Heaven, they can talk about Jazz and what it was like to sit so close to Lena Horne. I watched him my whole life, every Sunday....it just won't be the same without him.
Yes, hard to believe any of these 60 minutes won't be around anymore, its been a part of our lives for soooo long. What a great show. You'll be missed Ed!
a true pioneer. I hope he knew he was this appreciated before he left this world. it's human error to not let ppl know how much they mean BEFORE they close their eyes forever.
It was always a pleasure to watch his stories on 60 minutes. So many people on these type of shows that have touched millions of our lifes. I do believe he is and was an inspiration to many
With staple people like Ed Bradley dying and others retiring (like the Price is Right guy), it really makes me feel like I'm getting old and nothing will ever be the same.
He was an inspiration and will remain so for his ability to listen to those he interviewed..a departure from the screaming bloviating talking heads on most mass media today. peace Mr. Bradley
This really makes me sad. I've been a faithful fan of 60 minutes since I was 14(2000). Then when Mike Wallace quit I realized that these guys are near the end of their careers and I better cherish every second of air time they get... and I did. But still, Ed Bradley's death was like a punch in the gut. I loved his reports... he will be missed.
I wonder if we will have a journalist like him again. (?= Do the current media choices allow for someone like this man to reach the audience that he did? I'm doubtful.)
He never made waves. You wouldn't dream of hearing anything deragatory or controversial about him. But when he left us you knew you had lost someone special. Peace Ed.
They called him the 60 minutes man I watched all his interviews like Timothy McVeigh the murder of Emmett till lena horn mick Jagger Michael Jackson Bob Dylan Bb king and Aretha Franklin and all the others he was the best and good guy I miss you ed
Well he did a interviews about the Oklahoma city bombing of Timothy McVeigh and he did interview of 911 and he Emmett till Ali interviews he a lot and he will be miss
Hael Jollikainen that's not too hard as a white chick who didn't have to do hard labor, had access to wealth/building wealth, and lived in a privileged society. People ran her errands, washed her clothes cooked her food.... SPOILED is what I call it.....
I don't know if it's just me, but I could surely see the body language between Lesley and Steve, for the most part, Steve would not even look at Lesley or acknowledge her sitting beside him. I feel like that they wasn't the best of friends, I feel a lot of friction between the two of them.
Ed Bradley was smooth, intelligent, appealing, and one of the best interviewers of all time. I just liked the guy.
RIP, Ed.
Even now in 2022 I miss his one of a kind attention capturing interviews
He was definitely the best. He made journalism and this program cool to watch. From celebrities to politicians, he was great till the end!

I met Ed Bradley at Beverly Center (shopping center in Beverly Hills) and he seemed like a genuine good guy in person too; warm, friendly smile.
I loved Ed Bradley's Lena Horne interview. I remember watching it. He really got her to open up like she had not before. It was an awesome interview.
Thanks for upload, CBS. Ed will, indeed, be missed.
