people, please compare prices with Spain. You get much more for your money in Spain, don't know what's driving the prices up in Portugal, but it's no longer worth it

quality of the construction, kindness... When i was a tenneger a had so bad experience in spain that i refuse to go back for almost 15 years... than i discovered barcelona and now i like spain but will always be in love iwht portugal... They are just the kindest people on earth... ihave travelled a lot... And portuguese are just the best!!! So even if i know Vanlencia its cheaper i also know that the city smell like shit few days per month because of bad sewage (Valencia its the 3 city in span and one of the most populated) but road, sewage, no internet pass the albufera ect.... and potuguese people are so nice... like really really nice... I even thought i was kidnaped once because a guy wanted to show algarve to my sister and i... And he drove us everwhere smal village beaches ect... all day... On our way back i told my sister get ready to fight beacause this man is trying to get us lost and kidnape us but he brought us back at our rental says goodnight and never asked for NOTHING... and you CANT park without having someone stoping to help... even when you dont need it... but thats fun... Most of the time Portuguese will stop what they are doing to help you if you need... So i guess that why... And not mentioning the beach... i mean all those big old building all over the spanish beach... so Ugly copare to lovely fisherman village... and Portuguese dont build building on the beach... They are protected like in most european country.... You must respct a certain distance between the beach and the first raw of building... most of the time you have a dam and a wide sidewalk between the construction and the beach... But spain never eard of it i think.. So Comon!!! Dont compare what cant be compare (with all my respect for spain). Now you know why smaler properties cost a lot more in portugal... qualities!!!
True unfortunately Portugal has become way over rated and over priced. Result : you don't get much for all the money you put in. Better to wait until prices come down now the golden visa program is over.
