I love the mountains that area looks breathtaking. I lived on hills of MATANZAS,Cuba in my childhood. I live in the Flat area in Sacramento, California. USA for 30 years now. ❤ That is gorgeous!!!!!
8 months later and both properties are still on the market, despite a price reduction. Annual rainfall in this area is OK, despite 2-3 completely dry months, but what would stop me from buying is a lack of proper healthcare. If you're retired healthcare should be your n°1 priority, and it's just not available in the area. If you're younger and can work from home as a 'digital nomad' the area isn't very attractive either. This leaves you with a third option: converting the house for rental/B&B. But this isn't a spot that attracts many tourists. Whichever way I turn it, the numbers make very little sense. I hope the owners still get a good price for their home.

Water ...is the key to any sale..in my opinion. We have waterfalls and rivers that are now drying up. Praying for an end to our drought. These agricultural focused proporties are great...but the local owners realise withought year round water..it is not viable.

Hey, thanks 😊 I don't set prices or anything like that. I only make the tour videos. The asking prices can always be negotiated with the seller for interested buyers. I have seen similar properties for less in further out rural locations, but I think the main selling points with these two, are their proximity to the historic Templar village of Dornes, the Zezere River, and Lisbon.

The PT real estate market is crazy as usual. People are selling dilapidated houses in the middle of nowhere for $270K. PT is one of the poorest countries in EU with a meager average income and one of the highest Tax Rates in the EU. Who buys this?
