I'm planning to grow out my beard for the next 3 to 6 months at least and go from there. I stopped shaving my small beard just over a week ago and I'm happy with the results so far. I watch your channel often for advice on grooming, products, and such. Keep them coming man! Cheers.

Scotch Porter conditioner is incredible, gets rid of any dryness or roughness. The leave in is great too. I even use it on my head, completely cures dandruff.

Had a beard long enough now to think I didn't need any advise on how to get curls out, I never use any straightening devices, just a plain old hair dryer and round brush which is best by far BUT, I've never tried it the way you did it by blowing it backwards, I've always blown down with it, using my round brush for tension. I will try it this new way though and see how much different it works. Good vid scuba Steve

I might have used your Scotch Porter code a couple times. Some people say I'm lucky because my it is naturally straight. I guess I am because all I have to do is blow dry up a bit then from behind the ear forward past my chin. Then I have a nice full straight beard. I think length plays a huge factor. Right now my beard is 8", so it's easy to style. I will be cutting my beard this week back about two inches and I know that this will effect my styling routine. Also remember that "Length + Weight + Gravity" also aid in naturally straightening your beard guys. That means stop getting it trimmed every time you get a hair cut. Let it grow! Kinda like that Disney movie song where she sings Let it grow, Let grow". Good song by the way.

Not entirely sure I agree with the direction of blow drying. I've seen a shit ton of other beardtube vids that show blowing downwards. As far as using a "heat shield" spray, you only really need practically any beard product that has oils in it. The oils protects the hairs from most heat. Also, you want to keep the heat moving. Preferably, you have a "cold" setting on your blow dryer. Make your passes with the low heat setting and then finish with the cold setting. This will, according to those vids I mentioned, lock the beard shape in place.

What’s a good way to further grow your beard? I’ve been growing mine for almost 2 years now and it hasn’t really gotten any bigger after the first year. I use balm or oil every morning and don’t really have an unhealthy life. It’s also pretty curly and I doubt my beard is big enough for these options to try..
