Story/writing felt too simple. Miss elegant writing like 12. Gameplay looks like a movie you press square and r1 in sometimes. 0.5/10. Yep I'm a hater, a boomer, and miss my ff10 and 12. Visuals were amazing just hope they havent ditched turn based for good. Need RPG in my RPG.
Have you played Octopath Traveller? I really enjoyed those games. Still working on the second one. Some of the secret boss fights really took some strategy and brainpower.
FFX is one of my favorite games ever. I think this game was PEAK up until the Bahamut fight, then it coasted with a bit of a traditional Tales of Storyline. Combat was incredible the whole time though. FFX remaster will happen, but in the meantime this and FF7R are the best weve gotten in a long time.
