So, for example, if a person is a *decimal,* a *fraction,* or *measurement off,* the answer is WRONG! Ther is no mathematical variant! So, why is that agrad of 61% is passing? Whereas in any academic or fundamental life or carpentry to engineering, etc., the grade of 61% is a *D-!* Since you're using numbers, please feel free to explain this logic mathematically...
I’ve owned a Lectric for over a year. And I gotta say I like this Fat Bear. For the price it’s really nicely equipped, sturdy, and fast. If I wanted to add all the bells and whistles this comes with, to my Lectric, the total would be more than 2 grand.
I’m kind of tired of bike “reviews” that don’t tell us how good the gears switch, how good the brakes work and behave, how the crank feels. You know, all the things that make a bike good or bad.
Good to see the Alien Rate system! I had a custom e-bike years ago that I gave away to one of my friends who did a lot of camping. I was able to store in my garage but I have a lot more stuff these days. The Yamee is a cool bike at that pricepoint. Thanks for the video and Merry Christmas!
I have the shengmilo modele, the same, but 500 watt and 25Ah for the battery. Very fun... I just added a saddle suspension to avoid the rebound effects of the balloon tire. Speed max with mine, 50 km/h... just enough
Nice, that sounds like a pretty cool model. Great idea about the saddle suspension, I’ll have to look into that, would be a super smooth ride with that!
Bought my Yamee 750 through Electric Bike Paradise. Bike came in a very well packaged. In the box was the bike and a small box. In that small box was the charger, three way hex nut wrench and one open end wrench. Plus a small manual that really doesn't tell you much. I would have liked a more detailed manual instead of playing guessing games with everything. Plus I would liked more information on the front suspension. Such as how to adjust, replace, how much air pressure is needed etc. What I found interesting is they do not give you a 18 mm wrench for the back tire nor did they give you a small hex nut wrench to adjust the display and the head light. I guess 🤷♂️ Those two tools you going to have to supply them on your own. I also found the seat very uncomfortable. I am in the process of trying to find a seat that will give me as much maximum comfort as possible. So far I am having no luck with that. But All and all I am enjoying my Yamee and would recommend the Bike to others.
I guess the way I stated it I was not getting my point across. They gave me an open end for the front why not give you an open end for the rear too. And why not give you that small hex key to adjust the front light/fender etc. It did not make sense to me when I was unboxing everything.
Excellent review!!! Love the Fat Bear! If I needed a folder, I would order it in a heartbeat! Happy New Year, I am looking forward to the Twilight Zone Marathon!!! Keep up the good work.

If your commute is fairly flat then regeneration is of limited utility. If you've got a lot of ups and downs like you'd find offroad and definitely in San francisco then they'd help keep your range up.
I really like that display. Looks like you can get the info you need at a glance. It would be nice to see something like that on scooters. Alien Rides do you mind if I ask a couple of questions? I have got 11 inch tubeless street tyres on my scooter. What tyre pressure do you recommend? Also how do you handle wheel spin from pull away? Do you pull away in eco? I get loads of wheel spin and was wondering if this was normal? It's a bit disconcerting in traffic. Lol
Yeah, it's definitely a nice display! For the tubeless tires, it really depends on the tire. It should say on the side, but most will be 40-50 psi. Wheel spin sounds like power which is good, but it can be hard to control. Personally I'm always in maxed out settings. Throttle control, along with pushing forward and adding weight to the front tire will help here. Let me know how it goes.
@@AlienRides thanks for the reply. My tyre pressure was too low. 33psi. I increased it to 40psi and had a look at my P settings. I went out for a test ride and it was loads better. E-Bikes I'd like to see reviews on that are available in the U.S. are: Totem TC3 Gotrax EBE1 Swagtron EB7 Plus Fiido D2S ANCHEER 20'' Electric Bicycle Thank you for the video too :)
I got me a 650 as fat tires are out of the question for me. I'm a big guy so I need firm tires. Firm tires also mean great for going up steep hills and longer range, what helps also is that it weighs less.
The PAS, shocks and other perks make it a good deal. Many are close to $2K. Not as heavy as Rad. Still I would like to find a bike like this with a bench seat and rack that does not weight 100 pounds like the juiced.
I’m 6’ tall and wondering if the seat at maximum height would be high enough for me. Was wondering your height cause the seat looked at the top of its rise. Thanks, Alan
Hi. I have question on advanced settings. How I can increase max speed ? Is it even possible ? I have now 9 speed modes but max speed is now still 45km/h Thank you.
I saw another review that showed the max speed option and it was set at 31 mph. So based on that it would seem that you should be able to set it higher than 45km/h, which is about 28 mph. I'm not sure how to access that setting, however.
The other bikes are geared motors, which pull a lot better- these DD motors have torque issues however on an Eahora I had ,a bigger controller gave it a lot more ommph( it was 350 watt- thats why I thought the 500 FB would be alright for the hills( it wasn't)
I think an e-bike is a nice side-ride next to your scooter as you can go out and get some exercise with it. I think I'm going to definitely be riding e-bikes more in the future.
Cool, been thinking about getting an e-bike for my commute to work but ive never been on one so i wasn't sure how well they can tackle the hills here. Looks fun though i might buy one.
IMO I feel especially with draggy 4" fat tyres and a full weight ebike 1500 watts is the minimum and a torque based sensor for pedalling. I appreciate scooters can start at say $700 on a scooter for a good experience but with an ebike and all the parts it needs to come together and work well with increased weight $1500 is the minimum needed to get a good motor/battery combination as well as a warranty/service experience. I think a key part of the experience is does the shop/store you are buying it from commit to a warranty for a year and do they have spare parts year round for the product whilst genuinely offering a warranty repair/replacement service. A lot of places that sell scooters and bikes do not tick those boxes regardless of continent. Nonetheless great review but I think fat bikes need motors committed with 1000 nominal 1500 peak motors in rear hub formats. Thumbs up to support the channel.
@@AlienRides yep! As well as that have you ever yourself had a puncture on an ebike on the rear wheel if rear motor? If I was to have a e bike with bicycle rims and tyres i'd want a mid drive motor so it isnt daunting to change an inner tube. If the wheels are motorbike/motorcross wheels and tyres then these are a lot more durable so wouldnt mind hub motors. Keep going with your channel, your numbers will keep on rising its plain as day you have lots of knowledge and the filming and editing is always top tier.
You're link as others don't seem to work or not "Available" it's not like it's 2024,, I mean it's been a couple days. Moving foward it casts a shadowy precursor to this company's sketchy practices.
Yeah, I suppose the left Euc bike is a pretty good deal as well, just lacking some of the nice features of this one. I’ve seen those insane fiidos, I’m actually going to be reviewing one soon I hope!
This style of e-bike seems to have a lot of re-branding variants. I bought a Polarna e-bike which looks identical to this one. The prices have been dropping a lot too. I paid $1,350 for it 3 months ago and it took that long to get here.
It really depends on what kind of riding you're doing the most. Personally I prefer street tires, unless there's a big trail you really want to ride on.
@@AlienRides They said they would give me a refund, but I dont know what to do with the bike no. Such a disappointment. I had great hopes for it. It does not even click when power is applies. I wish I could trouble shoot it. But I did not buy this bike to tinker with it. I just wanted it to work... it was brand new:/
Do you think it is the controller or the motor. I was going uphill when it happened. It happened randomly, then all of a sudden after working very well.
I mean all I'm saying is if you would be hard-pressed to find a bike at this price range you said with all the quality in it I sure would hate to see how you scored the other bikes what are they scoring like a 20 or 30

The PAS, shocks and other perks make it a good deal. Many are close to $2K. Not as heavy as Rad. Still I would like to find a bike like this with a bench seat and rack that does not weight 100 pounds like the juiced.
Yeah, I do think it's a pretty good deal. Always hard to find the perfect bike. Good luck in your search.
Excellent review ✌️
Thanks! If only Rion made an ebike! 🤞
@@AlienRides ikr?
What folding fat tire e bike you can get the most miles that is 750w that has similar built like the YAMEE .
Hmm, I'll need to look into other options, not many folding fat tire bikes out there. 👽🖖
@@AlienRides Thanks
So is it STILL working like it was a year ago?
It's an Engwe rebadged, , those are cheaper, as are several other rebrands, some come with slightly bigger batteries.
Cool, I didn't know about that model. There's lots of similar bikes, I'm not sure who the original is from.
Can you put pegs on the yamme bike bear. For the look. . Whats the dimension of the back axle. ?
I’m 6’ tall and wondering if the seat at maximum height would be high enough for me. Was wondering your height cause the seat looked at the top of its rise.
Thanks, Alan
I no longer have the bike, but I think it can raise quite a bit, I think you would find it comfortable.
@@AlienRides Thanks for the information. Liked your review. I’m subscribed.😎
I'm six feet and 210 seat will adjust up just fine
Hi. I have question on advanced settings. How I can increase max speed ? Is it even possible ? I have now 9 speed modes but max speed is now still 45km/h
Thank you.
I'm honestly not sure, maybe tweak the advanced settings a bit, don't know what makes it faster though. Good luck! 👽🖖
I saw another review that showed the max speed option and it was set at 31 mph. So based on that it would seem that you should be able to set it higher than 45km/h, which is about 28 mph. I'm not sure how to access that setting, however.
Cool looking bike. I've ordered a janobike h20 fat tyre have you ever ride one.
I haven’t ridden that one yet but it seems like a cool bike. Ride safe! 👽🖖
If you didn’t it would be nice to see a review from one of the juiced bikes like the hyper scrambler
I haven't yet, but I would love to review some juiced bikes in the future. Thanks for the request.
yamee needs to update the motor controller... they only give you 300 watts max on pedal assist !
More powerful controllers would be awesome!
looks like a tank....is it for military use?
I think the military on some e-bikes would be pretty sweet!
Alien ride about to be the Doug demuro of PEV’s
I can say that we got some inspiration for our rating system from his awesome channel.
Good one!!! When I heard the word "rating" I immediately thought of DD!!! 👍
The other bikes are geared motors, which pull a lot better- these DD motors have torque issues however on an Eahora I had ,a bigger controller gave it a lot more ommph( it was 350 watt- thats why I thought the 500 FB would be alright for the hills( it wasn't)
Can this bike last me for 8 hours of riding ?
Sorry for the delay, you might have to pedal it quite a bit. Hope you found a bike you like. 👽🖖
Love it 😍 and it turns heads
I like the look of it, I want to get an e-bike and/or moped to go with my scooters
I think an e-bike is a nice side-ride next to your scooter as you can go out and get some exercise with it. I think I'm going to definitely be riding e-bikes more in the future.
Personally, I think the features set is a 9+! The thing is loaded if you ask me...
Yeah, I do think the features set it apart from other bikes. Good point! :alienRides:
Hey is that portola? Looks very similar to where i live lol.
Hah, we are always riding around that area. 👽🖖
Cool, been thinking about getting an e-bike for my commute to work but ive never been on one so i wasn't sure how well they can tackle the hills here. Looks fun though i might buy one.
I had a Sinch, and like the Sinch, the fat bear has the battery latch where I hit my leg getting off seat. Needs to be up towards front on bike.
Hmm, isn't the battery inside the frame though? Hope you're enjoying your bike!
@@AlienRides He said the battery latch, not the battery. It doesn't matter that it's inside the frame -- the latch is on the outside.
How many mile did you get from the Yamee on a full charge
I forget, about 25-30 I think. 👽🖖
@@AlienRides was it all throttle when u got 25-30 miles range?
@@eje5884 Yeah mostly, but I can't help but peddle some when I"m on an e-bike.
Worth it!
Is this one good on hills?
It does ok, but for steep hills a bit more power would help. 👽🖖
Good review and sounds like a bike with some great features...but, compared to the lectric xp you have no step through model and twice the price.
Yeah. I'm really liking the features and the value of this bike.
Is this a GDS ebike? Seems to be a rebrand...
I'm not familiar with that brand, but there are quite a few that are very similar. 👽🖖
It a nice review. People buying this bike would care about more comfortable and range.
Yeah definitely, it's a very comfortable ride for sure. I'm sure I'll take it out occasionally to get some exercise in.
Do you know about the engwe electric bike 750w-500w
Yeah, I've heard it's pretty similar, I'd love to check it out.
What kind of bike lock is recommended?
I like the kryptonite ones. A thief can get through anything, but those seem to last the longest. amzn.to/3gfaAC5
can the battery be removed?
I honestly don't remember, but I think so? 👽🖖
Fantastic video 😊
Thank you, this was a fun one to make! 👽🖖
Totally agree that 1k watts nominal is ideal, maybe even more!
They need a 20x3 fat tire option
Because the 20x3 is perfect and it feels like a bike then a scooter.
Plus I like that when paddling you can recharge the battery.
You just gotta enable it
That would be pretty fun for sure! 👽🖖
is it waterproof
I don't believe so unfortunately. 👽🖖
What’s the trade off? Did I miss it?
It's a nice bike, but it's a little slow and a little heavy. 👽🖖
Cool bike! Cool backpack! Oh, where's the translator? 44°6′19.1″N, 39°4′48.7″E
Lol thank you! I don't know what's at those coordinates, but maybe we'll try to go there some day!
@@AlienRides Google maps will show, it's very far away! :-)
I love my yamee :)
Good little bike, ride safe! 👽🖖
pls review inokim ozo for us here..
Thanks for the request, I would like to review some Inokims, possibly we'll do that one in 2021. Happy holidays!
@@AlienRides
👍👍👍👍👏🙂
You're link as others don't seem to work or not "Available" it's not like it's 2024,, I mean it's been a couple days. Moving foward it casts a shadowy precursor to this company's sketchy practices.
Oh weird, they must have updated their website. I'll fix the link, thanks.
Looks Amazing
I wish there is more made in USA good ebike, to me personally it could be on demand and it could take longer.
Yeah, more made in the USA e-bikes would be cool. I think there's a few ones now, but they are pretty rare.
A 61 out of a 100 isn’t a “solid score”
We'll have to rate some more e-bikes to see how they stack up.
Nah, i will take the Lectric e bike for $900, i also hear people have been modding that little FIDO e bike to go over 50 MPH 😳😎👍
Yeah, I suppose the left Euc bike is a pretty good deal as well, just lacking some of the nice features of this one. I’ve seen those insane fiidos, I’m actually going to be reviewing one soon I hope!
So far lectric is what it’s going to have to be. Same specs they want 1200 for but I need a coupon
I think that’s a very nice bike 🤝👍
I'm liking it for sure, great set of features.
Cool man😳😳
Thank you and happy holidays!
Merry Christmas brother 🎊🎉
wish I could have one
It's a great e-bike, hope you can get one in the future.
Now do a high power bike 😍
Yeah, I need to, afraid I'll get addicted though 😅
This style of e-bike seems to have a lot of re-branding variants. I bought a Polarna e-bike which looks identical to this one. The prices have been dropping a lot too. I paid $1,350 for it 3 months ago and it took that long to get here.
Awesome you got a bike at a good deal. 👽🖖
This and the Polarna I look at the most for my first e-bike in SF. How do you like riding it so far?
Gotta upgrade the seat 10" and put some mirrors on it.
Those would be some sick mods. 👽🖖
hey friend how much is it
$1,800 or so, not cheap but worth it imo. 👽🖖
Question is off road or street tires better for a scooter?
It really depends on what kind of riding you're doing the most. Personally I prefer street tires, unless there's a big trail you really want to ride on.
@@AlienRides I just figured would work better on street
Snice traction is better.
But I be on street more
Why does this bike look exactly like the Rattan bike?
Hah, good eyes! Those are actually the same company basically and sell the same bikes.
Has anyone owned this bike for a significant amount of time? What have your experiences been?
I did not own this for a long time, so I'm also interested in the answer. 👽🖖
Someone tell me how to reset odometer please !!
hear me out.
what if somebody did a conversion kit to a motocompo ?
Hell yeah, I'd ride it!
That's cool!
Not a bad little e-bike.
@@AlienRides seems pretty nice =) Looks like they've gotten popular these mini bikes
My power failed on a very similar build after the 2nd try
That's unfortunate, hope you got it fixed or a refund. 👽🖖
@@VictoriaAerial Most likely the controller, but it's hard to diagnose remotely.
@@AlienRides Do you think I can get the part or get someone in my town to fix it?
Any fat discount codes?
I wish, sadly I don't have one... Still a decent deal though.
Wow seems like a really low score to me for you to say how great the bike is and give it such a low score that's not going to help sales at all
Hah, we are very strict on scores, but maybe we should've given this a higher one. 👽🖖
I mean all I'm saying is if you would be hard-pressed to find a bike at this price range you said with all the quality in it I sure would hate to see how you scored the other bikes what are they scoring like a 20 or 30
You might not want to unbox against a black background, hard too see 😉
Ah, that's pretty good feedback. We like the nice shots it gets, but maybe we won't unbox there. Thanks!
Next time, why don't you unbox in sunshine? Nice bike.
Yeah, we should thanks for the advice 👽🖖
Sick
It's a sweet bike.
i just tried contacting the company--i don't care how great the bike is but if you can't one simple question answer
Lord help you if something goes wrong-- I guess they don't care if their bike sells or not...
Good customer service is definitely key, smart to test that first, and sorry they didn't get back to you. 👽🖖
