Thank you! I made this the other day. It is so delicious that I had to make a double batch this morning. I used it on red cabbage. I’ve been putting it on everything. Thanks again. :)
Years ago a friend brought over some chicken and veggie wraps with an amazing sauce. I've never been able to recreate it. Well, I just made this sauce (doubled or maybe tripled the garlic and used low sodium soy sauce, otherwise followed the recipe exactly) and THIS IS IT! Only it's healthy! Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing! I'm going to pour this over rice noodles, onion, cabbage, mushrooms, and bell peppers tonight. :)
Would you make a video on how to grow your own microgreens? Thanks.
When I get all the kinks worked out 👍🤗
Yes Please make a video on Microgreens
Found this today tweeked a bit with coconut aminos, maple syrup and lemon instead of tamari and vinegar plus your other ingredients : delicious in a mix of parley, cilantro, broccoli, brussel sprouts and red cabbage topping for a baked sweet potatoes mashed out on plate........ Thanks for new
Great, easy and versatile
dressing!!!!!!!
Thank you! Delish! I added half water for thicker results.💗

Praise the LORD for creating sesame seeds!
I'm not a vegan, but I love sesame dressing and I'm open to trying new recipes for it, especially if they're good for me. I would love to try this next time I get paid and can round up the ingredients for it. Whatever helps me eat that salad!
Never heard of Temari, though.
Tamari is similar to soy sauce and is gluten free.
Hello the food you prepare here looks amazing , but as a diabetic I notice a lot of the recipes seem to be high in carbs (potatoes / noodles etc). Are there specific low carb plans / cookbooks etc. that are low carb oriented. The vege meatloaf looks delicious and low carb. Thanks
I just love this! Thanks for the info on red cabbage.
Could use fermented peppers (green, yellow , read, orange ) so good instead of sauerkraut
Hi Jill, I’ve written down e of your salad dressings. I’m using them as a base. My wife is allergic to garlic. We don’t like dates or onion powder. But everything else I think we can use. Thanks, I’ll let you know how it goes.
WOW, I cannot wait to have a salad/bowl now because I want to try this dressing! I know it's going to be so yummy, and I appreciate that it is all whole foods...thank you, Jill!
I love your salad dressing series. A good salad dressing makes a huge difference in a great salad. Variety is great too so you don’t get bored if you eat a salad every day. Thank you fir doing this.
Can you do a video on how you grow your broccoli sprouts. I do mine in a mason jar and the you have all those greens on top like yours.
Good One!!!
Wonderful. Looking for oil free, sugar free dressings.
I'll do this at home, I wont take it somewhere and make myself obnoxious lol
The bowl is beautiful! I’m looking for pretty bowls. Where did you get it?
Sorry, not sure
It was a gift from a friend ❤️
Love your dressing recipes! But is there something wrong with olive oil?
Here is a video by Dr Klaper that explains the oil thing 👍

ETA: Yikes! I don’t know why only a dollar sign showed up 😳 but I meant to say this looks really terrific. Thanks!
For the benefit of non-American viewers, black cumin seeds are sold in the UK as nigella seeds.
Wild rice isn't actually rice. It is classified as a grain. Not related to regular rice at all.
Jill can you please make a mayonnaise?!
Deakin McGinn Hello! Go to her website for the recipe. If you scroll up, she answered another viewer. Have a great day!😊

Lol Buddha belly
Would you please share a link where you got your microgreens planter? Or even a video on how you grow microgreens and where you get your seed?
Thank you!
Debbie in WA Ü
I am doing an episode on them once I work out all of the kinks👍
@@wholefoodplantbasedcookingshow Thanks so much! I've grown m'greens for quite some time, but I've never seen the container like you've got. And I'm always open to new places to buy seed :)

I LOVE!!!!! this dressing! I've made about a 10x amount. I added about 1-2 T cannellini beans to make a little thicker and cut down on dates. I didn't miss the date that I left out. This is my favorite of all times! Thanks for all you do!!!
Would you be willing to make a video on how "You" do/grow your microgreens? I really hope so. I would love to see how "You" grow them from beginning to end. Thank you very much, hopefully, you'll do it, I recently tried and it was a total fail. Thanks again!!! :)
I would love to see how you would create a mayonnaise. I am presently buying a vegan one and although it tastes great, there a few thickening agents etc in it which isn’t so great 😊

The Whole Food Plant Based Cooking Show - oh great, thank you. I will be trying those 😋
Healthy sugar free version of salad Dressing for Thai papaya salad.
I'm really appreciating your break-down of the qualities of each ingredient for the buddha bowl.
Looks yummy. Definitely made me hungry 😁
Very pleasant presenter, how refreshing someone, committed and talented NOT a narcissist! Thanks I’ll be back!
I’ve been looking for a dairy free, oil free dressing. Can’t wait to try this one. Please make more dairy free, oil free dressings. Thanks!!!
I really enjoy your cooking show. You are so relaxing and relatable. I feel like I could be in your kitchen just visiting as friends sharing some favorite recipes.
I'd love a dressing that doesn't require a blender to make.
Will definitely try this, looks delicious
About the lime juice, I often use a digital scale for liquid ingredients when it's a tablespoon (half ounce) or more. With water based ingredients, an ounce by weight is an ounce by volume -- no extra cleanup.
Thanks for that.
Yum! These dressings are delicious! The creamy Italian was great on salads and also on boiled or baked potatoes! I would love for you to do a Poppy Seed Dressing.
Thank you for sharing. The dressing looks delicious. I will make this as soon as I buy some rice vinegar on my next grocery pickup. Can't wait.
The lycopin in the tomato actually increased when cooking
Very good, thank you.
Love ypur recipes! Please let me know what kind of onion power do you use? Thank you for being so likable.

I have 1 tsp of black seed oil every single day mixed with a glass of o.j. amazing stuff. It has literally eased the pain in my foot that i injured from running. Thanks for another amazing recipe.
Poppy Seed~
Looks great, I will definitely try this one. I am obsessed with your vegan ranch dressing!
:-) :-) :-) :-)
Made this for today's salad. I even toasted the sesame seeds in a dry skillet. Oh my goodness, SO tasty! Thank you for this fantastic recipe!
Yummy!
5:22. I’m gonna use maple syrup instead of the dates bc I don’t wanna blend it just mix it or shake it thanks
Hi Jill. Great video and great dressing! I wonder why mine came out dark colored and watery even though I followed your recipe to the letter. I used a strong blender (Ninja) but it still is dark and nothing like the light color perfection that you achieved and yours is so creamy too ! Just out of curiosity also.... are the sesame seeds supposed to break up or dissolve when blending ? Maybe I need to get a Nutribullet ? LOL .....
Caesar please
Just made this one to go on a Buddha bowl with some crispy tofu and it was by far the BEST sauce I’ve ever had in 2 years being plant-based. Used sesame seed oil instead of actual seeds, though....seeds next time. Rest of fam liked it too! Thanks!
This is very good. Pretty strong but with the addition of one medium carrot blended in, it really rounds it out nicely. Definitely going to make this more
Your contents are so well thought out and all the background and benefit information that you provide is much appreciated. I only wish you would start doing more close up of the ingredients when prepping the recipes, not just at the end as you sometimes say "..come on in and take a look ". I think It'll get the viewers more engaged and open their appetite to try the recipes=more views. Thank you for your contents!
Loving This Series!!!! So far, every flavor I've tried has been yummy!! Keep up this Kitchen Magic!
This looks delish although I’d replace the potatoes with cauliflower florets.
Made a modified version of this and it came out really good! Used powdered ginger and stevia instead of dates.
Thank you so much for you salad recipes. I love the French and creamy Italian! Looking forward to trying this one next. Honey mustard would be another one I would love to see. Thank you again.
Giving the thumb up on this video as I eat a salad topped with ranch from your ranch dressing video 👍🏻👍🏻
Could you also please do a video on growing microgreens? They looked amazing!!!!
sorry, just reviewed all the comments & saw this same request several times.
I'm going to try the dressing. Hard to find a dressing on here that will taste like tahini without using tahini (way too high in fat for me).
Please do a green goddess salad dressing!
Yes! Green Goddess!!!!
Looks delish! Except beans and chickpeas tear me up....crispy tofu for me. Looking forward to this dressing. I HATE bottled dressing....even the "natural" ones.
I find that dressing with no oil doesn’t adhere to th lettuce. I would one tablespoon of avocado oil.
Love this recipe. I added a little tofu and blended (to sneak in some protein). It added a "texture" component, which is fine. This now my go-to dressing!
I also love this series! Enjoying so many of your dressing ideas. I really love your French dressing. But they are all great. I would love a mashed potato recipe.
They all have dairy and eggs 😭 I was so sick of eating only lemon or italian
What can you use instead of dates, I have to cut sugar way down?
Absolutely delicious! I just made this for a veggie stir fry. Only change was omitting vinegar bc I can't handle them. Thank you so much for sharing your recipes!!!! ❤
Delicious dressings! I would probably double/triple the recipe to have enough for a few meals. In the sesame/ginger one, how much tahini could I sub for seeds?
How about a dressing using tofu as a main ingredient? I want to find ways to use tofu; not crazy about its texture when included in soups or stir fries, so dressing would be be a great alternative. Thanks for your excellent demonstrations.
I would use 1 tablespoon of tahini. In any of my dressings you can use silk tofu in place of the nuts. The flavor won’t be quite as rich but you could always do half tofu, half nuts
I love your videos. I’m newly transitioning to plant based…no sodium (due to high blood pressure). I love Russian Dressing, would you have a recipe for this? Thank you!!!
This recipe is very similar to Russian dressing 👍

How about poppy seed dressing? It is my husband's favorite and the store brand is full of fat and sugar.
plantbasedcookingshow.com/2018/04/10/oil-free-lemon-poppyseed-dressing/
Wow, this dressing is delicious! It literally wowed me and my husband! Only change I made was omitting the vinegar - too hard on my tummy. Thank you so much for sharing your recipes!!! 😋❤
Which one is your favorite ??
Girl, your salad dressings are amazing! 👏 Thank you so much. ❤️
Commercial salad dressings are probably one of the most unhealthy foods in a restaurant. For years I ordered salads (without the meat or cheese) thinking it was healthiest item on the menu until I realized the types of oil and other ingredients used in restaurant salad dressings. Unless it’s very high end expensive restaurant, the restaurants are buying it by the bucket load from a factory.
Well, this is close to my requested Carrot Ginger dressing. So I’m going to sub carrots for some dates. They’re quite sweet too 😋 Thanks!!
ooh! that's a nice variation to try to! thank you for the idea. how much carrot do you think would work and would you use carrot juice or whole carrot?
Mountain hiker I just now made some. Eliminated the dates entirely. Added a good cup of baby carrots instead. Yum! It worked. Just like an Asian restaurant.
@@rollingstone3017 WOW! Thanks SO MUCH! I'm really happy it worked because I LOVE carrot ginger dressing. And I love that this will be SO HEALTHY! I really appreciate you taking the time to try it and get back to me :) Thanks again!
How about avocado and Cilantro-Lime dressing?
I love sesame dressing ! And your version looks absolutely delicious on top of that Buddha bowl ♥️
Thank you for your excellent ideas! How did you get such wonderful broccoli sprouts??
I grow them in flat trays with coconut coir 👍
I'm saving this before watching. :) Thank you!
Thank you for all these dressings! I'd love to see your take on a balsamic vinaigrette or italian style!

I find it difficult to folliw the recipie when you talk about grocery salad dressing etc in the middle of making the recipie. Please provide ingredients list in the description
There is a free printable recipe link in the description of all our shows.
Just made a Buddha Bowl with this dressing. Yummy!!!
I am a subscriber and can't figure out how to ask you a question about the vegan oil free brownies. We just spent an hour trying to make them and it was a challenge. Maybe you can contact me thank you. . .
Hello
What was the question?
Thank you l see now, no salt added
How about a vinaigrette?
What’s the calories?
Wow this ginger dresing is amazing! Make it every 2 weeks. Thank you
I wonder how it would be if you left out the water, as more of a concentrate. Sometimes I rinse off my greens, and there is still a bit of water still on them.
Absolutely
Hi! That looks REALLY Healthy & Tasty. Questions? Where did You buy that Broccoli/MicroGreen lime green planter from? Please! Thank You!

Thank You! ;)
I made this dressing for my family tonight, and we had it on a kale/romaine salad. It was fantastic. Thank you!
Looks like you need company.
Me? Oh thank you I'd love to share your salad. Lol...
The dressing sounds so yummy and easy peasy. Thanks
😊😊😊😊😂😂
What do you think about black rice? I love black rice.
Love it 👍
Any salt added????
This all looks great! Been loving all the dressings I’ve tried so far! Continued wait to try this one!
Can you substitute dates for apple slices?
Hmmmm, interesting idea. I think it would work
I want a sprouting tray like that. What brand is it?

I just found your channel and love it!! I can't wait to try some of your recipes. Where do you buy your cashews? A lot of recipes call for them but they are soo expensive. Thanks
Trader Joe’s has the best priced cashews
