Glad to see the album up. Its fantastic.
I have several copies of this album still wrapped in the original, unopened plastic wrap if anybody's interested. I have several others from late 1960s, early 1970s groups too. I got them from the attic of a house in which Vince Malone (who wrote the liner notes) lived.
Any chance you could share any of his backstory? I do know he was a member of a band called the Metropolitans who released two records on Semaphore which was a label that released field recordings of train sounds. Was he a rail worker?
Oh and was this all based around Pennsylvania and the associated railroads there?
Hey I'm interested in those records, which bands do you have ?
👍🤘
what a cool album!
Another album I bought for next to nothing at the Princeton Record Exchange in NJ back around 1991 or so. Maybe Someday Maybe Never is a highlight.
this ghost riders in the sky version is pure GOLD
Really great album!!!
great singer and album..i didnt know this album
Does anyone know much about Stoner? There's not much online. No wiki, etc. What an underrated talent.
Frederick Woodruff seriously..just heard this album for the first time!
24:44 There is a skip on the vinyl used to make the rip. Did anyone else fucking stand up and start heading to the record player to see what was going on?
