Quite an interesting chat over a whole individual match. I like the format.
Sasaki's newaza is top of the food chain. I know a high level BJJ BB who trained with Sasaki and said he was incredible. Hope to see him back and healthy!
excellent match
Great to see them being allowed to work on ground
More JudoHighlights where have you been >:[
He looked off physically, wasn’t as sharp as he used to be, his execution was sluggish which is weird for a guy who’s execution usually is so sharp, TO ME he was simply not prepared to perform that day. Wish him the best bc I still believe in is talent.
It’s called getting older . Sucks because your mind wants to continue like you’re 20 years old but you’re 10 years older , slower and banged up
You know Davadoorj is competing in the veteran world championships?
in -81 of all categories (??)
Was there any leg grab ippon? I'm dying to see them back in tournaments! Thank you!
in 2025 bro, not now
@ResTAnimous didn't the Kodokan already bring them back for this tournament? I heard for Ijf was next year
Anyway cannot wait for them to be back even under new rules
@@7Alberto7leg grabs coming back to all Japan open weight
@@timelesswarriors bummer
Is someone throw or use leg grab?
Why was he out for so long?
Knee injury I think
He received a knee injury from his match with Nagase during the Tokyo Grand Slam in 2022. He's visibly limping after and it led to him losing the repechage and placing 5th (the only person in the weight class from Japan who didn't medal).
the guy just stumbled to the mat and that's move.
there's no clean move in comp judo anymore
