    You are the first to explain the hip switch. So many coaches say to have hips forward the whole time, but when they demo they do the hip switch.

    looks almost like an uchi mata entry into o-uchi-gari with a hip switch and hook at the end rather than a clean sweep. as often the case the way “it actually works in reality” is very different to how its taught which in my case has never felt achieveable. i will try this method, it seems more natural.
