smart.just take care of not tuching the see trhue flat plastic that get darker at one end.this is a optical type pedal.No potmeter or switch.contacktless.never crackle pometer sound.Recomend to use a gluegun and glue the display window to the chassie properly from inside.it sits with double sided tape strips not good.Also use big plyers and clamp the egdes on transformator together so the lamination in the trafo dont rattle and create brum.Also pinch fit it against chassie to get the board quiet.many have badly made transformers that rattles and get warmer thnan if it was properly clamped.some transformators have electric isolated bolt true each corner.If so tighten them.Some trafos like in mine is just clamped edges.can use a wice and press the clamping metal egde so lamination is tigth and use a propan solder gun and a drop of tinn on the corners is also a way if done rigth.
unfortunately I ain't got that gear anymore, but it's not that hard, just a bit tricky to push it at the right place. It's a 2 minutes work, without unscrewing anything

well, it's not pro touring gear obviously, but I rarely saw one dysfunction to be honest. you may have to clean the switches and tighten the screws from time to time but it's definitely well build for this price range
If you have the extra money get a modern one. Many exist. Wireless ones are a thing now. But some brands sell 4 buttons for hundreds so people that are comfortable with modding or doing the long setup process like this controller. I got a brand new one for 50 dollars. So I will add a mod chip and get ah tappin
QUESTION, I got everything working now bud EXP2 does have a diffrent velocety curver then EXP1 , Like if I push exp 1 Frome heel to toe it goeas seemlesly from 0-127 bud if i do it with EXP2 nothing happens till I am at halfway, and from there on it transissions from 0-127. As ifthe previous owner had manupulated something to make it more sensitive. I dont think it is meant to be that way.. Has someone a IDEA??

I just fitted a new UNO chip, configured it, tried using this editor for windows; www.fcb1010.uno/ It's letting me receive patch dump from the FCB but not letting me export anything. I joined the group but I can't see anyway to get a activation code or even anywhere to enter one to enable me to get the board working. There is a payment link on the Mac software D/L button but not the windows and all the forums are dead.. I'm Win10 64, i7 16gb Presonus Audiobox US 96 I'm just trying to get it to communicate with guitar rig 5 in stomp box mode. All the manuals are overcomplicated and might as well be written in Latin, can anyone out there please help me?! thanks.
I can see a purchase license button next to the downoad buttons, hop you'll get it sorted since the control center really makes everything easier... but since I don't have the FCB1010 anymore I can't help more, sorry :/

hard to install unless you take off the bolts, would be nice if you showed us how you did it looks easy though

I ain't got the FCB1010 anymore but I highly suggest you get one of the software editors, otherwise it is a pain to program
