Clara Oil Painting

This painting helped raise €3300 for the Spanish Cancer Charity - Contra Cancer, in dedication to my late friend Clara.
The music is by her husband Nick Howley.
I created the design for this piece by listening to the music and by remembering her. I hope to have captured some of her essence.
This painting took nearly 3 weeks in total. I create 3 layers of painting, and underpainting, a coloured layer, and finally an impasto layer to certain areas, applying it in different ways with a palette knife.
