I was looking for tips on how to start a campaign for a webcomic, but your videos were definitely helpful as well. Thank you!

Thank you for this! How do you integrate the special $1 offer into the KS campaign/rewards? Having a little trouble picturing how that works logistically

      First off, you're welcome!
You won't have to do anything on your Kickstarter campaign.
For example, let's say you offer an exclusive add-on to your main product for $1 in the pre-launch. In order for that VIP to get that exclusive add-on, they will have to back your main reward on the campaign.
Adding their exclusive add-on to their order is easy post-campaign since you'll have the emails of the people who got the $1 VIP offer. I recommend using a pledge manager for this part.

Would love to know a ballpark figure of meta ad budget to reach that many subscribers (11k) and the timeframe. Good content

At one of previous videos this guy recommended to build audience meta like Crowdfunding,Kickstarter,Indigogo and below more interests.i did so and had not a good result)Then i have learned to set Kickstarter in the second frame and got the much better result)

They spent $47,503.25 in the pre-launch. The time frame was a few months. That's a much bigger budget than the majority of creators. But the pre-launch metrics were so good that they were able to spend with confidence. You can watch our podcast episode with them here: ua-cam.com/video/CCXz8qgF0qY/v-deo.html

Thanks for the informative video! My main struggle with Kickstarter is that I don't know how to create a polished prototype without initial funding. It seems like many projects that get funded quickly already have a prototype that looks just like the final product. Could you explain how they manage to do this and offer any advice on how I might proceed?

My first question would be this: have you tried creating photorealistic renderings for your product? I would start there and then start to test your product in the marketing. You can follow this other guide I have here (www.launchboom.com/blog/how-to-validate-your-product-during-the-prelaunch/). If you get some positive feedback from the market, then you'll feel more comfortable investing in a better prototype before launching on a platform like Kickstarter.
I know that doesn't fully answer your question, but I think the validation piece is critical before you raise or save enough to build a polished prototype.
