Sometimes I have to pinch myself to make sure we're not dreaming. This is the life we always dreamed of, living off the grid on a sailboat. It's all starts with a perfect sail through the Vava'u Islands in the Kingdom of Tonga. Then we drop the anchor and get invited to swim with giant humpback whales.
From here Mother Nature decides to shine down on us for a snorkel with our friends Nate and Jordan. Super clear water, beautiful starfish, colorful Spanish Dancer Nudibranch, blue lobsters, puffers and one sneaky octopus. It's magnificent!
The cherry on top is our local friends Kjell and Adriana have arranged a Tapas dinner at the best restaurant in Tonga: La Paella. The food is great, the atmosphere is even better and it's BYOB! Plus, once the plates are cleared the real fun begins. It's an experience we won't forget.
Living #OffTheGrid on a Sailboat for us is all about creating a more sustainable way of life. The more of the world we see, the more we want to preserve it. But, living off the grid doesn’t have to mean sacrificing modern comforts. We believe self-sustainability and comfort can coexist.

Video was fantastic. I loved all of it. It is hard to capture a dining experience like that but you nailed it. Expedition Drenched are a favorite of mine also, so thanks for sharing. As a bonus to the quality and consistency, you both are so adorable and I wonder if she isn't actually Tinkerbell! I didn't want to make it weird but I am so envious of the two of you. Thank you for sharing yourselves with the likes of me. Just found this after watching some of your more recent videos. I've sailed a little (S. Cal to Catalina), actually taught SCUBA briefly and dove mexico and the Channel Islands, and even "chased" a gray whale, but this video makes me envious as hell. Jason, you better realize how lucky you are to partner with Nicole. Best to both of you.

What a hidden gem of a place to eat and entertain. I loved every second of the 4 years I lived in Spain, and to have it in Tonga....that is what life is all about.
My goodness how wonderfully beautiful was that! Thank You the whales were to die for. Can you Imagine all the fish that would have been in the water yrs ago but now are so thinned out due to man's overfishing, collecting fish pets and eating anything that moves in the ocean. Such a lovely episode, I don't comment on every one because it would become repetitive but some I just can't help it.. Waiting patiently to travel with you this time on your new boat!😄

Excited to see new video! My only problem is i found channel recently and tried watching backwards but realized channel was started few years ago so now I'm working on watching from beginning to understand the whole story and there's so much to see to catch up.
