- I promise you it's not difficult to make one of those zoom animations. You need to learn like 3 things and then it's all copy and pasting. Midjourney + Adobe Premiere Pro is my formula of choice

You are very good at explaining! Thanks!
Glad I could help!
Thanks for the shoutout... :D That was just my quick 2 second tutorial cuase people asked how I did it. I need to write up a more detailed description. :D
Also FYI in Davinci you can use soften under cropping which basically makes only the outer edges of the first track images transparent. This can be applied from the beginning to the end. In other programs you might want to just gradient mask off the outer edge of the first track images.
and thank you for the mini-tutorial! I was looking to replicate the 'soften' effect but all I could find was the 'opacity' ... but I'll look into if Premier Pro has a gradient mask. Thanks again!
Yes please :)
Great! Thank you for this! Any chance you can do the panoramic version of this video? Where the image keeps scrolling panning
I don't know if you'll need a full video explaining it, but you'll create key frame for the 'Position' of the image - start it at one side, move to the end of the image and drag the position so it ends where you want it
This was new! Good stuff. Thank you 👍
🤝 cheers!
thank you mah man !! this was super helpful. A nice way to stun my instagram and Tik tok followers with something so simple.. ! great vid!
haha I appreciate it! Enjoy :)
I do this slightly differently for a quick and easy method. It's limitation is the resolution of the image. But I do 4 zoom outs from the original image. Load the final one into After Effects. Set it to a 3D layer. Set up a camera and then use the dolly effect to zoom in and out. Really is easy. I do use the Runway upscale tool on the zoomed image to give me the best look rather than the Midjourney original. I forgot to say that. I don't have an example on UA-cam to share, but After Effects users should give it a try for quick and easy results.
Yeah and anything after like 4 zoom outs, the resolution becomes the problem like you said
@@FutureTechPilot If you're just doing panning shots, this zoom feature is a god send. I genuinely think that Midjourney has the video market in mind. They're going to smash what Gen2 has been doing by removing the flicker from the vast majority of scenes with this approach. Gen2 baked in the problem of generative images in it's architecture. I said at the time, this was a mistake.
So helpful. Many thanks. 🤓👍
I'm glad you find it useful!
Mr. Future Tech Pilot, your tips have been wonderful. Is there a way I can thank you? Patreon or any other way to send you a tip??
haha no, I have nothing like that. But I appreciate the thoughts and support!
You can use the "Thanks" button at the top under the video to donate. I've done that in the past.

Great video! Can you provide the link for from Ariel and the Davinci way of editing this zoom process?

@@FutureTechPilot Hey. This link forwards to MJ announcement channel, but I can find Ariel's post
@@rihards8592 Yeah sorry. I realized the link only works for people who have made more than 25k images. I asked Ariel if they've posted the tutorial anywhere else and they haven't gotten back to me. Sorry!
@@FutureTechPilot Thank you for your response. BTW I think you are the best explainer of Midjourney content on YT. Keep up the great work.
Nice!
🤝
Thanks for this! Can you tell me how to find Ariel's post?
I don't know if this will work, but here's a link discord.com/channels/662267976984297473/1121802150721363998
Do you have a link to the davinci instructions from Ariel?
no, they've never made a public one. The only link I had was for people who made over 25K images in Midjourney. Sorry!
I know youve posted the link to Ariels tutorial but when I click on it, it just takes me to the midjourney discord. Is there a way to get a link to the actual thread? Am I missing something?
Dang I have to apologize. I didn't realize where they posted it, but it's only to people who have generated 25K images ... I'll ask them right now if she made a copy of it anywhere else
they said they're going to work on it today. I'll post it in the description when it's finished
@@FutureTechPilot Thank you dude! I appreciate the response.
Any chance we can get a link to the davinci resolve instructions??

It is 30% helpful for Premiere use if you're working with a large still photo of a horizon without any movement or obstruction whatsoever. Might as well be looking at a planet in space.
Yah it can be a little tricky for sure
Is there a text tutorial on how to do this in Premier Pro? I've tried following your video several times but nothing works right. I must be missing something.
I made this article based off the video, let me know if that helps - www.futuretechpilot.com/midjourney-tutorials/infinite-zoom-video-tutorial
Thanks for the info. I followed the article several times but I still get a glitch at the same spot no matter how many times I check the scale and opacity. I could probably figure the problem out myself if I used Premier Pro more than once every other month.
@@paullenoue8173 haha well I'm sorry to hear that! Please let me know if you find the solution
Your vids are great, but you jump screens, zoom and unzoom screens, show your face close-ups, all way too fast. That is great for a regular video, but explainer vids should probably be a little less chaotic. If one is watching and trying to follow along, one quick glance away from your video and it's easy to become lost because you change screens so quickly. Just some quick feedback :)
thanks for this video, though!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I've been thinking of making a more formal A.I Art Course and I would definitely slow down the lessons. Thanks for the feedback though, it's really appreciated
Can you show us how to do this using iMovie?
I don't have any Apple products, but as far as I can tell, the idea remains the same. Have 2 layers of pictures, offset each layer so that it goes like '1,2,3 - 2,3,4' .. and then adjust the scale of the images on the top row from 100->50, and adjust the scale of the bottom row from 200->100
Second tutorial that didnt work. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I did this to a tea. My images just keep fading out one after the next.
You can try following this article - www.futuretechpilot.com/midjourney-tutorials/infinite-zoom-video-tutorial-using-midjourney - it's the same info, but maybe it will help
Great quick tutorial! I’ve been meaning to figure out a smooth continuous zoom out, will definitely try this method! (The way I had been doing it before was more stylized with jumps between zoom levels … ua-cam.com/video/fB_cHRrf3L4/v-deo.html I think both approaches are cool, just a matter of desired effect for a particular video. 🙂
Yeah that video was really cool! Is that all done through keyframes?
@@FutureTechPilot Thanks! I built mine in After Effects (and used a 3rd-party plug-in for the zoom transitions). Perhaps I'll make a tutorial about how I did mine at some point. But in the meantime I'm eager to try your method in Premiere, as I think can be way more quick/efficient to make a *bunch* of zoomout/zoomin videos!
Ai should handle this entire process In a few easy seconds (ok, the processing part will take a few minutes:-)
haha it'll only get better from here
@@FutureTechPilot better, and beyond……
