Much easier in After Effects, parenting to a null and exponential scale. Feather masks 15% to blend. Once done you can hot swap the images by making a new folder with images of all the same names. I've done it once for 20 images, now swapping to a new set takes the time of rename a folder and re-rendering.
Nice! Thanks for sharing that. Sounds good, I will test it. Does this get rid of the „pumping“ problem as well? So far I thought this has to do with Premiere not being able to scale exponentially. 🤔
@@julianvandieken I also have this concern about the pumping problem. Other than that i did one with 61 pictures and it is SICK. are you on discord or email, i need to send it to you. its pretty rad.
It looks like the velocity is accelarating on the start of each new image. Not really smooth...why is that? The after effects technique works better but has problems with higher quantities of images.
Yes, you are right. Saw this „pumping“ effect afterwards, couldn’t fix it for the life of me, and it drove me crazy. It apparently has to do with the scaling keyframes somehow. The velocity changes in between keyframes. But I think I have found a solution, and I will share it in a new/updated tutorial. Thanks for the reminder! 🙏
if you do not like the "pumping" effect -> select the two keys for scaling, right click one of them and select "Keyframe assistant/Expotential scale" -> done
You won’t be able to zoom in your first generated image. But you could follow the steps in the video, and reverse your nested clip. That way you’ll create a „zoom in“, and the first image you generate will be your last image in the final video.
I would like to do this with my Midjourney images. But I'm not a professional artist and I doubt I will be using it very much. Does anyone know of any free video editing software that can do this?
Nice tutorial but this is not a smooth zoom, you can see how it pulses as it scales up. You should instead create it in After Effects with the exponential zoom keyframes to avoid the pulsing.
Yup, very true. Didn't realize this at first, and this is one of the solutions/workarounds. Premiere apparently cannot do exponential scaling. Thanks for sharing!
Of all of the videos I saw on custom zooming vs zoom x 2, this explained it the easiest. Thank you! subscribed.
Lovely content Jason Staton, i like your channel.
xD true
Thanks for sharing. This is probably the easiest and fastest way of doing it. And amazing results, wow!!!
ua-cam.com/video/ngbsz7krG3M/v-deo.html much easier way using after effects

+1 for doing this in After Effects. With parenting you only need to set keyframes on one layer.

Great thanks and subscribed
amazing, thx to show this great job to us ❤
Great idea! Thank you!
Excellent content!!!
Thank you! Glad you like it ☺️
Nice to find you here Julian 😊

Good job, jason statham!😂
I was gonna say daredevil lol. But I think he's a perfect mix between them.
Congrats
Great content, for sure, thanks for sharing🔥🔥🔥
Thank you, appreciate it Mike 🙏

But this "exponential scale" option is only available in After Effects, right?
@@julle4083 yes, i could not found it in premiere (also pumping)
Yes, I don’t think you can do exponential scaling in Premiere unfortunately. 🤔 But still, thanks for the tip Michael! 🙏
Thanks.
This is amazing effect. Does zoom effect only available in MidJourney? Any chance for Leonardo/Stable Diffusion?
Well, you can do outpainting with Stable Diffusion, so technically it’s possible, yes. Maybe I should do a tutorial on this? 🤔
Nice
I'll love to achieve this in capcut
It's possible!
Man amazing end result but in this cray AI tech day and age so surprised all these steps have to be done one by one and for each frame
ChatGPT Code interpreter might be your friend.
Do you also can show, how to animate it in Final Cut Pro? Thanks in advance and great work!
I haven't tried it in Final Cut yet, but it should work in a very similar way.
How can you Zoom in starting from a photo (instead of Zoom out)?

once you have made yor clip render it out in reverse.
Good stuff but that zoom effect is making me dizzy haha

Davinci Resolve, the free version.
CapCut
But of you do the first image 100 to 50 you’ll Have a black Space…

How to do with FCP, can Motion do it? Hmm? tank que!
ua-cam.com/video/Xiw8QrAYvaA/v-deo.html , done with another method, without even knowing somebody else thought at it aswell , lol
