There are a lot of cruise channels out there to choose from. Thank you for giving mine a try and know that I am committed to making every video the best it can be for you!
Kinda worried I booked princess cruise I find the prices high, only bought a standard fare, hopefully I won’t get charged for every little thing, guess I will find out,I just thought a 7 day calif cruise for 2,100 for a inside room is high.
Don’t worry. I don’t get the packages. I can live without wi Fi and I don’t drink that much. You will have an amazing time. $150 a night for food, transportation and entertainment sounds like a deal to me.
6:33 I wonder if they have a carnivor or sometimes called the proper human diet? 😮 Yes I know super restrictive. Can you imagine no cookies 😢or deserts 🍰😢. No carbs, no seed oils, no processed foods, no sugars no veggies. I do drink coffee with organic half and half creamer. Not sure what I'll do when we go to Italy . 😋 🤔 Sorry for that little rabbit hole 🐇 🕳 😊 Thanks for sharing these tips 💪
You will find the food and choices plentiful. You can easily skip the carbs and stick to your plan. We really reined it in on our last cruise. Our son is getting married and we want to look good! 😊
Avid Holland America cruiser…trying a princess sailing this year ……totally agree with the traditional cruise vibe! Looking forward to trying this out…princess plus purchased and receiving the medallion pre cruise. Hope you enjoy or already enjoyed your cruise. ❤
Lucky Andrea! You are going to have a great time. I loved Princess. It has a similar vibe to HAL but I enjoyed the performances in the main theater just a tad more. Have a great time. Check out the video I have coming out next Friday, March 8. I am sharing some unique essentials you might never have thought of but won’t be able to cruise without on future sailings.
We booked our first princess on the sun princess. I CANT WAIT!!! We have been on multiple cruise lines and we definitely looking forward to this new adventure. Your vid really helped 👌👌😁
You bet! The packages can be a great money saver or they can be a big added expense depending upon if you drink alcohol or specialty coffees. AND if you want to go to specialty restaurants. 😊
I highly recommend the Princess Plus package way over any other cruise line deals. I just did a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise in April and I enjoyed it so much that I just booked a 12 night Panama Canal cruise in Oct/Nov!! Princess Plus Package included!! You really get your moneys worth I think. I love to eat and I definitely enjoy a nice cocktail or a glass of wine or four. I also love the WiFi and not having to worry about gratuity is great. It’s up to you if you want to tip extra which of course I always do. To me it’s just the perfect sailing experience. If you’re going to sail on Princess I highly suggest you splurge and get the Plus package. I promise you won’t regret it.
Me and my friends are going on a princess cruise and we are going to pay the food delivery and run around the cruise after and see how long it takes for them to find us and give our food to us 😂
Great job explaining the changes. Just got back from a Majestic Princess cruise. We had a great time. The only thing to note is that the French restaurant is gone and was replaced with The Catch by Rudi. That was our favorite meal during the entire cruise. Thanks for keeping us posted on all the changes!!!
We did a 10 day Alaska. Pre-cruise, we spent 4 days in Vancouver and Victoria. It was a lovely trip. While onboard, we booked a 12 day British Isles for next year in the Regal Princess. Can’t wait to go!!!
Good luck on keeping the packing light. This is definitely an area for growth for me. Just my lotions, potions, makeup and hair require a carry on. 😊😂❤
You can get as fancy as you'd like. I usually wear a dress that I might wear as a guest to a wedding. But on the cruise I'm taking in a couple of weeks, I'm going to bring a black pair of dress pants and a nice blouse. For men, my husband just packs a pair of khaki's and a button down shirt. Jackets are not required. I'm going to post a packing video on May 17. I'm going to share what I am packing and what my husband is packing.
If you drink soda or nicer coffee, you should think seriously about Princess Plus. If you sail on the biggest ships, unlimited casual dining and reserved show seating make Premier worth considering.
Good advice! The perks of soda, special coffees, wi fi, and paid gratuities do go a long way towards making Princess Plus a good choice. The part that is interesting to me on Princess Premiere is the specialty restaurant and the photo package.
That is a great question. The base fare includes accommodations, entertainment, game shows and trivia, live music, food in the buffet and main dining room. Food at the international cafe, food on the pool deck that includes hot dogs and hamburgers and often pizza depending upon the ship. The standard Princess cruise package offers plenty of delicious food to eat.
With the casual dining being previously included, that was only for Gigis and Alfred's. Places including like Salty Dog Gastropub, Sushi, and O'Malley's and more are now included for plus 2x and premier unlimited times. These previously cost extra for all guests. Otherwise, good tips. I hope you have a great cruise.
Thank you for the clarification. That definitely would influence which package I go with if the Princess Cruise ship I am on has those venues. So very helpful! 😊
Thanks for the tips! Have you been on your princess cruise yet, can you confirm if men can get away without wearing a jacket to specialty dining? Thank you very much.
@@cruisingwithkristie Great, much appreciated thank you! We are traveling from out of country to a 15 day cruise and attempting to do carryon only. So trying to limit the unnecessary for packing!
Did you do all the research or did the Life Well Cruised channel do all the research. This video is almost word for word of what they put out three weeks ago.
Hi There Soupergirl. Ilana at Life Well Cruised is full of great information. I do watch her channel as part of my research in addition to Cruise Tips TV, Tips for Travelers, Cruzely, Cruise with Ben and David that do hilarious full cruise tours, Harr Travel, another great one for full cruise ship tours, The Cruise and Travel Guy (he did a great review of the Majestic Princess as well as a full ship tour). Additionally, for this video I went through Princess.com and Cruise Critics to see what they had to add. There is a lot of overlapping information when you look into any cruise line and I think that it is up to viewers like you to decide who you want to watch. Thank you for watching this time. 😀
@soupergirl1728…I can see why you thought she copied llana at Life Well Cruised. The categories are in the same order for the first 8 minutes. After that, the categories are not the same except maybe one but not in the same time frame because Illanas video is much longer. Info is usually the same on most vlogs but the presentation of the info varies as personalities of these vloggers differ. Illana is more polished in her presentation but after some time Kristie will get there, too.
Thanks P W for the words of support. It will take me years and years of practice making videos to be in Ilana’s league if I ever make it. But, in the meantime it will be so much fun to practice by logging in the cruise hours and sharing with my unique perspective and hopefully entertaining personality with my viewers. 😊🛳️
I enjoy Kristi and Ilana. I subscribe to both and really appreciate the research you do and the time you take to put it together and explain it to people like me who are novice cruisers. Going on our first cruise in December’24 on Princess.

Glad to entertain while informing.

So happy for you. Sun Princess looks amazing! I’m glad my tips and tricks are helpful. 😊
Thanks so much for explaining the different packages, very helpful!

I agree. Princess Plus is the best package out there. I hope they don’t change it.

😂. Don’t try too hard. They work hard enough.

Thank you so much for the update. I’ve never tried The Catch. I’m glad you enjoyed. How far did you go on Majestic? Hawaii? New Zealand? Australia?

Very helpful. Thanks and subbed.
Thanks for joining our community and watching! 😊

The ship is beautiful! I’m ready to go❤
It really is a lovely ship with so much to do.
Thanks for sharing. How far in advance do I need to book my room?
You’re welcome! 🚢🛳️❤
what can you wear for formal night dinners?

Hi There, Dee. I big confirmation that NO jacket is required. My son and husband just wore khakis with a collared shirt and they fit right in.
Who wants to pack a jacket? Right?
@@cruisingwithkristie Great, much appreciated thank you! We are traveling from out of country to a 15 day cruise and attempting to do carryon only. So trying to limit the unnecessary for packing!
There are a lot of it depends, but the short answer is as soon as you can.
Don't worry. Not having you medallion will add 5 minutes or less to your check-in.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I’m glad they have the process dialed in.
