I agree that the arm is a prosthetic but I don’t think she was born with one arm I think she lost her arm by probably getting attacked by a beast and then built herself a new arm.
My theory/headcannon is that after Sora escaped Imperium, she made her way to the Crossroads. Then, in one way or another she got her arm stuck. That's when Arin found Sora and they had to separate the arm in one way or another in order for her to get out. Kinda morbid, but... yeah.
@@dinandroelofsen-gb1js It's a objective fact. you're letting your own bias get in the way of it. prosthetic arms don't move like that, are you stupid?
I honestly agree. I don't care what the writers said, it has to be prosthetic. A. Why would she have Imperium armor when she's made it clear she hates that place? B. Yeah, Tournament Sora is sleeveless, yet her arm is still golden. C. If it's armor, why is it not on both of her arms? D. Ninjago is slowly inching into doing representation, this seems right up their alley. And if you don't want to inspire prosthetic violence, don't. Show one scene that confirms it's prosthetic, I mean the girl has powers, why would she use her arm as a weapon? Look at Lego Friends The Next Chapter, Autumn has a prosthetic arm.
A: she could've made it herself, she didn't have it until after she escaped imperium, meaning that she must've made it B: Because it looks cool, that's why it's there from the beginning and why it was unclear what it was C: Jay had armour on one arm with his ZX gi, in other words because cool like last one D: This isn't really that much of an argument when the people working on the show, the reason there is more of this stuff to begin with decided it's not a prosthetic
Even though the writers said it was armor, there's a book (don't remember the name, but it came with a Core Lloyd minifigure with a lot of accessories, meant to be played with Sora's S1 mech) that calls it a prosthetic But at the end of the day, it's Lego, which is all about imagination and creativity, so I think they made it so anybody can believe what they want (only downside is that, due to this, it might never be adressed in the show)
At this point, I am inclined to believe it's a prosepetic, I don't care what the writers say. But, I don't think she was always born with one arm. In her flashback, she has both bare hands, meaning she has two functional arms. Instead, I think she lost her arm in a mech race. In Ep 1, Kreel mentions that Arin and Sora never learn their lesson about taking part in the mech race, and Frohickey even showed concern for them when they signed up via pie. So maybe Sora lost her arm in a mech race and had to replace it with that imperium armor. That's just my theory though.
I think it's armor. I don't think it'd glow when she uses her elemental powers if it was a prosthetic. Also, Sora apparently sleeps with it on. People that have prosthetics don't do that.
Honestly, I don't care what the writers say, I will always believe that it is a prosthetic arm. Because in the first episode, when Sora shakes her arm it makes a hollow metallic noise, indicating that it isn't a regular arm
I really like your headcanon about this! I absolutely think that the writer’s stance on this doesn’t really matter, if there is a compelling argument to be made against that stance, which there is. It just being armour is, at the very least, a boring answer. It being a prosthetic leads to questions for fans to theorise about, and has the potential to provide good representation!
It might not quite be a prosthetic but maybe a permanent brace of some sort due to an injury she received while leaving Imperium, resulting in her arm not being strong enough to preform everyday tasks, but still being attached to her body.
Don't think it'll be reflected in writing but at least in design it is pretty much confirmed. I mean there was the concept art of her tournament suit that didn't have the arm and now she does. Like if her arm wasn't a prosthetic, she definitely would've had two yellow arms.
As much as I wish it was, its clear they don't mind using a prosthetic as a weapon (the mechanic) so I highly doubt that's why they said it was armour I'm still on board with this theory

welp ur wrong.
It’s not prosthetic, considering the confirmation from one of the lead writers, Chris “Doc” Wyatt, that it’s armor.

Shut up it's confirmed to not be prosthetic so cry about it
About C, Jay also only had armor on one arm in S1 and the first half of S2, on his ZX suit
@@Shaia_TeamLCE exactly therefore Sora's arm is just armor

Prosthetic representation for the win! Even if it is canonically armor, we can still headcanon collectively that its a prosthetic. ^^
