A C90 was my first bike in 1970, rode it 20 miles each way to work 5 days a week then never off it at weekends.
Now 50 years later after over 20 other bikes from a Bonnie to a BMW, Nortons and several Yamahas, still got my courier bikes, 600 & 900 Diversions and FJR1300 I've got 3 Cubs, a 70 and 2 90's, one of the 90's got used for courier work!
I get more fun on the 90 than I ever have from any other bike! Thinking of making a sidecar for the 70 and a roof on one of the 90's. I wish the UK would allow trailers below 125cc!!

I'm astonished these small machines kept working over such a long distance. I had one in the Sixties and the engine had serious problems several times. I know they only have a short mechanical life (8-10000 miles max) but mine did a lot less than that. I presume all these riders are skilled mechanics.

Glad to see I am not the only one who wears full protective gear even on a small bike, I have the new Super Cub 125 and am glad I do my trip was NOT in bright sunshine but a cold misty true Scottish late spring week, how come no matter which direction you travel on a bike in Scotland you always have a head wind?

Of course it's always possible to use the wrong tool for a job, but why would you? ...tiny engine, overloaded suspension. This is blatant scooter abuse.
