Dear Dazs, thank you so much for the wingman guide. I've been looking in so many places for this and now I have specific aimlab scenarios that I can practice in. One question I have that doesn't seem to be covered though... Is it better to continue to ads in close combat or hipfire with the wingman? I seem to be a little more successful with hipfire, but your videos and others I've seen mostly always ads. I'd love to put a link to a recent clip I've uploaded but not sure if it's allowed. The first 15 seconds is something I'd like explained.

Helpful guide for sure. I've been using Aimlab for a few months and I definitely see the improvement. I'm also the type that NEVER shys away from the Wingman.

After playing a lot more apex for 3 seasons straight, I have began to pick up the wingman more in the last week and a half. It's been awesome. Land a headshot and body one after the other is so powerful. Forcing them to bat and switching to another high priority target or getting aggressive off the damage feels so empowering. I try to run a shotgun too so I can have a lot of inventory space for extra meds or nades for my stack (I have a horizon main in my stack). The only thing is that I find it hard to win fights if you can't find opportunities to isolate 1v1s especially if you even just miss more than a couple wingman shots. Working on getting better with it is so fun recently so I'm sticking to it!

Hopped on Aim Lab about 2 weeks ago and before that I always avoided the wingman and when I did have it, I was absolute trash with it. After 2 weeks of grinding aim lab for 2 hours a day, I'm seeing MAJOR improvement of my wingman shots. Now every time I see the wingman I pick it up as FAST as I can.
I struggle with it but I still pick it up to get better with it
I used to not be able to not hit any shots with wingman or any marksman , but I brought down my DPI and in game sens and almost improved overnight. Still dodgy here an there but most of the times I am surprised at my own tracking and aim, now I am comfortable carrying a wingman to end game :)
Wingman has been my main gun for over a year now. Just unlimited potential in every scenario. best gun for sure.

I prety much always pick it up its one of my fav
for me i would always pick it up but miss half my shots i aim with my wrist so i have high dpi so i adjusted my ads sens so my flicks could be better which helped a lot ima def do these to help wingman aim i started in s11 so my aim is ok and i don't train my aim much but ima gonna get into the habit of training it now
It’s best for precise in and out movements and not a full on assault weapon. Plus people do not know that there’s recoil on the gun; thus making them miss sometimes.
I pick wingmans everytime coming from valorant and using the sheriff a lot which is more precise and a bit less spammy wingman just came really nicely
I dont usually pick up the wingman because my aim is really horrible but I am consistently using aimlab to improve my precision and tending to pick it up more often
I usually pass the WM up, because of how detrimental it is for me to miss a single shot with it. I’m slowly learning the aiming in Apex though.
I would always avoid it at all costs cause I was afraid of embarrassing myself. After the first hundred hours or so I decided to pick it up and it wasn't as scary as I thought. Now it's a must
I swear to god if they put Wingman in the carepackage next season...
What snse are you using and Dpi ?
I almost always pick it up and pair it with CAR or a PK.

Nothing deters people from using it. I get killed by full squads with wingman's all the time. It needs to go to the damn care package.
When I spot a wingman, I avoid it. I'm not at a lvl I want to be to be effective with it. I took a massive break from shooters after leaving console and going to PC. Since my return, I've noticed a deterioration in skill. I randomly found aim lab, and it's been helping me.
its worth it dude, about a month ago, I started grinding arenas using only the wingman as a main and its insane how good it is, once u learn the recoil on it. Very recently I've been using it sometimes in royale and i was really surprised how well it works for me now.
I'm right-handed, but for historical reasons (I'm old) I'm still playing with mouse in left hand (and I'm too lazy to relearn movement with left hand). So you can imagine I avoid the wingman like the plague. :)

my wingman aim is like most players I imagine. When it hits it HITS, I hit consistent shots from hundreds of meters away and land headshots up close, pairs amazing with a PK that day... Then the next day I can't hit anything with it no matter what I do. I noticed that the more I train, the more consistent I am, but I'd like my best and worse to be a little closer. If I see a wingman I pick it up, if it doesn't hit I put it down for the rest of the day lol.
You need to try out wingman and r301, you can use the wingman as main weapon and the r301 as secondary.
When you see you dont hit anything xD you still can change for some gunfights to the assault rifle
I find I can do amazing one game with it and then do terrible with it every game after that…
Always pick it up but can't use it. :D
