  • I chased myself down a few blind alleys installing and setting this up, most notably by adding the probe virtual endstop option to the y stepper instead of z which had me baffled for a while :) Thanks to brainstorming with fellow printers it is now running well.
The printer is a Creality Ender 3 Max which I've heavily modded. I designed the mount for the EDDY probe and will make it available in my Thingiverse and Cults collections soon.

... and it works brilliantly on my ender3. Game changer time wise. Be sure to use the version of klipper linked to in the instructions as the latest github release of klipper does not appear to allow for fast scanning.

I'm having a similar issue, can't get my printer working with the Eddy cause I can't get past the calibration, would you mind sharing what you had to do in order to get it up and running?

Hi mate, is this one the USB version? how did you installed, just followed up the instructions from the GitHub? any tips?
I have the usb version, and my board is not recognising the device (make menuconfig -> make -> here press a buttom and plug?)
    Regards

Yes it's the USB version, I just held the boot button down while plugging the USB cable into my computer, then I copied the firmware file onto it, I think it then reset, I need to run back through the set up with the second Eddy I have and make notes as I go. You need to flash the Eddy before the Klipper board can see it.
