@@DoggggggggoIt has nothing to do with being unable to picture things. If you don't get it, just close your eyes and imagine a specific frame from Bad Apple. How did it go? Was it a singular, detailed, perfectly crisp picture? Or was it more of a fuzzy mess?
about that... Morshu reading the entire bible was partly automatically done lol - the creator of that modified the existing MorshuTalk program to make it better for reading the entire bible. That, and even then they don't seem to have actually read 100% of it, I know a few verses offhand from unrelated things & wasn't able to find them in the video (ex. Matthew 18:6).
@@blanknam3dI mean it's still pretty impressive even if it was done automatically considering it doesn't use AI at all and uses sentence mixing instead and also the fact that Morshu only has 2 lines
@@CubingBones yeah, it's still an undeniably impressive shitpost, it's just worth noting that it wasn't literally sentence-mixed by hand in Audacity or VEGAS Pro or whatever else lol
The description says they used a program to automatically find the best frames/audio bites and stitch them together to make the video. It's still a very impressive feat of programming though! (Sorry if I'm missing a joke or sarcasm.)
in linear algebra, there's an operation called the dot product which takes two vectors (you can think of them either as a point like in 2d or 3d, 4d, 57d, etc. or like a list of numbers) and gives a single number as its output. The dot product is proportional to both of the input vectors' magnitude (distance away from 0, (3,4) has magnitude √(3²+4²)=5) but it's also proportional to the part of one vector that points in the same direction as the other. So if you have two normalized vectors (their magnitude equals one, like points on a circle or a sphere) and you point them in the same direction, the dot product is 1, point them opposite each other it's -1, make them perpendicular it's 0. Quickly, calculating the dot product is easy, multiply the two first terms together, then both second terms, then both third terms, etc., then add all the products together and youre done. Now, what if you treat every brightness value in a video as just one long list of numbers and treat that list as a vector? Well it turns out this is a comparitively easy way of telling how much one image looks like another. And in fact, if the dot product between the "canvas is too bright/too dark by X" image is and your paintbrush image is 0.5, you can just add your paintbrush image*2 to the canvas, and doing so will make the error image "perpendicular" to the paintbrush, where adding or removing any of the paintbrush will make it worse. Fun fact, this is how jpeg works, just with squiggly grids instead of steamboat willie. (also this alone works fine if you're Just Trying To Make It Work, but doing it so that it only uses a few frames instead of a little of all of them takes a fair bit more sophistication)
This really makes it look like a rediscovered video from the 1900s, which is cool and the fact that its made by merging the right frames is impressive!
man they finna be willing to play this one song on anything no matter how crunched it gets rule i don’t know: if it exists, bad apple can be played on it.
Yeah people are a lot more sensitive to audio issues than to video issues, so it didn't really sound like anything with longer intervals (hence the audio being switched twice as fast as the video)
Okay, I'm not usually spooked by many things, but the one thing that haunts my nightmares is digital glitching and weird signals. And this, this right here is nightmare fuel.
