The initial process is a solvent extraction at high pH. Portland cement or slaked lime assure high pH.
The second step is acid precipitation. Sulfuric acid is used as it also precipitates any calcium from the lime or cement.
Crude paste is further refined by a second acid-base extraction yielding the chloride salt which is what is snorted.

We need to establish a fair trade act that is sustainable so that these local farmers make more money for all their hard work think of it as a farm to table or jungle to nose candy.

It’s very hard to get it into Australia. That’s why china owns that market.
Here in the Netherlands it’s 35€ for a cut gram and 50€ for a pure gram (yes I have had it tested, and it’s really pure)
Why is it that the things that you find most enjoyable are always made from the worst ingredients.
It can be made with water but they speed up the process with petrol , desiel or acid because it's illegal and they need to make quick if it was legalised it could be made clean by proper chemists and all the money spent on it can go to rehabilitation for users plus taxes for roads etc

A chemical can be deadly when by itself but combined with another toxic chemical can become something that isn’t toxic at all..
If you ate chlorine and sodium separately it would burn your mouth/esophagus and explode in your stomach, but if you combine them before you eat them they're table salt.
Just stop criminalizing drugs.. people can make the decision to use or not use. And if it becomes legal, they can use better chemicals to process the drugs, and you stop a lot of the gangs and violence...

It's Australian dollars so nearly half in USA dollars. On top of that Australians never sell pure it's always cut half and half a half again as it goes down the chain because they are so greedy. So a kilo will be cut up to a million.
Probably because they know that dealers through the chain keep cutting and adding glucose and whatever else so by the time the mugs buy it from the street dealer each wrap has less than 30% coke in it whilst charging 40 plus bucks for it

Yeah, sulfuric acid is a common laboratory chemical, used in the manufacture of thousands of different commercial products. Cement is just calcium hydroxide, a strong base, another commonly used chemical. And gasoline functions just as a solvent. There is nothing particularly toxic or evil about the process, it's just an acid/base extraction. But of course this is all propaganda so they have to make it scary looking.

Sulfuric acid and similar "dangerous substances" are used in an extremely large volume of processes to extract or separate one chemical compound from another. Once this process is complete, other substances are used to neutralize the acids.

Yes but the environment it grows in changes the alkaloid content. If you're not growing it in a tropical mountain climate, it's likely to have MUCH lower potency and you'd require more like a kilo or two of leaves to get that same gram.
