There is a lot of people who will say you don’t need Mr Right. But honestly imma be real. I met my baby wife and we improved and grew each other so much. And God blessed us with each other to make us grow. For me personally we needed each other and God gave us each other. A mr right or a Mrs right does exist. Whether God gives you the man you want or doesn’t it’ll be for the best. Once you pray and submit what you ask to him he will either give you exactly what you want or something greater and it may not be what you expect but it’ll be what’s best for you anyway.

But you are absolutely right, every person and relationship needs Jesus FIRST.
God wants to give you a great husband. But, he wants to give him a great wife, too. Part of preparation for marriage, is to examine ourselves, to judge ourselves, and seek healing and renewal while walking with the Lord, and studying the scriptures. This is how it worked for me. I had to become a better man before I was ready to marry my wife. Happily married 15 years & thank God every day. Worth the wait. Beware the mismatches Satan puts in our paths before God’s provision arrives. Peace.

Start with the Bible Project, The Chosen, Audiobooks, Youversion. How about setting an alarm where you drop everything and pray to God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit? Giving up a bit of time to the God who gave us everything! 🥰
Agree. The Bible Project has lots to offer. I listen to a Podcast- “The Bible in a Year” with Fr. Mike Schmitz…. Read the Bible daily (15-20 min) per day then he explains scripture and how it applies to our lives today. God is good.

Hey there just saw this and I totally feel you bcz I have been here .the time you just don't know for real but let me you that God is always talking ..my dear just try something new go on date with God like during day go out in the park or somewhere else alone and ask God to talk to you and ask him to talk in a way you will be able to understand just be open with God tell him ..be open just open your mouth talk say whatever you feel like and let it be like a conversation with someone
My dear God will surely talk to you but don't expect to hear a loud voice bcz God speaks in different ways but let me tell you that he will talk to you and it will blow your mind .. don't be discouraged he is a loving God and he is not human remember that always

She said some great points. She is reminding me of what I read in a book called "How to Pray: Developing a Intimate Relationship With God." The author said "Effective prayer is You talking to GOD and taking the time to listen to what GOD has to say to you. "

When you find your self in such situation; it means you spend more time on other things that are not Godly. Your busy with may be fashion, movies, TVs non Christian books and so on, find out what takes the greatest time of the day. then change and give God the greatest time as in prayer, reading the bible or christian books, do songs, do your work with a praise and worship song in the background and let what excites you be Godly and your prayer life will be so amazing. delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4.

It might also be the translation you use. I tried using the KJV for a long time but its language honestly comes off as archaic, making it extremely hard to understand. You spend so much time grapling with specific terms and sentences that you end up losing sight of the actual message being conveyed most of the time. I reccomend the NIV and RECV.

I had never even taken into consideration that I could write out my prayers to God. I've never prayed consistently, and because of that I've always felt so much pressure when trying to pray out loud of even just in my thoughts. I'll be writing out prayers to strengthen my relationship with God and my comfort of speaking out loud to Him. I've wanted so badly to feel comfort in his presence rather than anxiety for "not believing enough" but I finally feel ready to put in the effort to open my side of communication. Thank you for this, very helpful.

i was raised a Catholic but didn't really pay much attention to it since my grandma is the only one in the family who still keeps up with religion. but I've always found myself crossing myself when going past churches, when something bad happened, and i still do pray sometimes. I guess god has stayed in my heart after all these years of neglecting what i am... Right now, i wanna pray so that my boyfriend can have a good night's sleep, he's an insomniac...

I have not had a prayer life in years. I was raised in holiness but left the place where it was God & me all the time. I want that feeling of being close to Him again. So much has happened in between leaving that place. I question myself, can I get it back & will God honor that I want it back. Disobedience, bad relationships, not reading my Word, is just some of the things I have done since I left that place with God.
