- A Frozen Cold front is moving across Canadian Alberta Prairies.. and the Boys are at it again! the Cold Road to Gold is never an easy one.. but alas that road must be travelled. We have been anticipating this type of battle from when we first started digging way back in April 2019. We had to chip the ice from the fresh water pond just to get started.. and now it seems we must continue that fight throughout the later months. We are doing everything we can to see the gold get into the pan.

For those of you who don't know...
"#youtubegold" is a 100% Canadian #parody of the popular Gold Shows we see on TV such as #goldrush, yukon gold and others.. Yes, we are mining real gold.. and yes, we are full grown men using tiny machines to mine the gold. We are currently in the Second Season, and this is episode 21.
There is irony in all of what you see..is most of this show is all choreographed. THiS IS THE INTERNET.. Do not believe everything you see..! heh...
Almost all scenarios are staged, acting out our characters, comedy.. etc.. In fact, we are not even working for efficiency, as we are a group of hobbyists who are more interested in entertaining our audience.. than "actually getting gold". Being an RC show, we use as many RC's as possible to achieve this. Again, all we are doing is goofing off for a good Saturday of fun.
A few of the things that are not staged is our friendship, the laughter, camaraderie, and of course.. THE GOLD! (Yes, it's real pay dirt). The true Gold is the experience we get as friends, what we hope the viewers get watching a group of goofballs entertain them with some very cool toys. One mans hobby, is another's entertainment on UA-cam!

Many critics asked if this multi untalented and vastly unskilled crew of miners had what it took to succeed and if this RC mining based show would capture the heart of the viewing public. As those questions are answered in the positive and this rag tag bunch of RC loving friends prove themselves to be more than handy and better than lucky, more is asked of them.
Now as the cold, snow and ice of a possibly early Canadian winter starts to move in, will the team and the equipment be able to push on or will it all come to an icy end?
Will Kevin reveal his true form?
Do I have what it takes to continue with these corny voice overs?
Will Rookie ever get a full bucket of pay on to a conveyer or in a truck?
Will Joe's hole continue to prove its a glorious one and keep the crew having golden showers or will it become a pain in the ice hole?
Will the clever innuendo continue or will it be given the cold shoulder?
Will Gem get her hairdryer back or will Krazy Joe keep it?
Can I keep this up?
Will the boys be back next week or will the weather bring an end to the season?
The most important question of all, the one question everyone wants answered, Will the one thing that keeps the crew together, the gold of all golds the one thing these guys value second only to their families, Will the beer supply last?
To possibly get the answers to these questions and more then tune in next week at about the same GOLD time, same Gold channel, UA-cam GOLD
The funniest thing about this post is that even before it said something about continuing with the corny voice overs, I was reading it in Mike Rowe's voice. 😂
To me it seems you are going about loading the pay in unnecessary steps. You took the loader and raise its ramp dramatically improving productivity, but you did not do the same for the excavator. If I may be so bold, and clearly rude, as to offer my backseat driver advice, I would put a wall down hill from and basically right next to the converter, park the excavator above and between the two, and dump the pay off the hill against your wall. Then your excavator can both get a full scoop for once, but also the machine would not have to turn what appears to be nearly a 180° turn Twice for each bucket. Excavators are created to dig holes. Let yours dig a hole. Faster and easier I suspect.

Hey guys, just have to say. I've been watching this series since season 1 episode 1. Last month I introduced my 3 year old to you guys. We are just now sitting down to watch this episode and he can't believe you guys already have snow. Lol. I explained y'all live in Canada and he said he always wanted to see you guys and then called all of you his Uncles. Lol. Careful or he may expect Christmas cards from you guys. :-D

Love Dirt Devil's comment, and its crazy to see snow on the ground while it being only September. Great to see you and the boys pushing on with mining. the biggest thing for me about this show is how you and the boys have so much fun driving rc construction equipment and mining for gold, drinking beer, cracking jokes and at the end seeing your reactions of the amount of gold for the episode, as well as the entire season. I think you might have just beaten the season goal lol
They should invite Parker Schnabel as a guest on here and see if he could use some ideas from here for his Gold Rush channel business..😅

I just found this channel and have binged each and every episode. AMAZING JOB! Like seriously, keep up the good work. I really cant believe the little guys are still running let alone moving pay. Just a thought for next season if it can be worked into the budget, strip mining. Now before you dismiss this idea, imagine a drag line or a steam shovel working the pay into a conveyor to the plant. It may not fit the theme but i happen to be a huge fan of cranes of any sort.

The cold really arrives very early at home, it means that the season of youtube gold will stop, it's a pity . Another a brilliant episode despite the cold and all the problems that it causes, it is not easy to work in these conditions especially when you have the nose drop 😄 It is always a great pleasure to watch your videos, very good work and long life youtube gold baby 😄

I absolutely love watching youtube gold and just ur channel all together and its cheered me up a lot today, ive been having a tough day, my grandfather passed last night and i didnt learn till this morning...so youtube gold is absolutely a therapy method😂 im a little behind on the season but im definitely getting there, Ive also noticed that kevin has been replaced for a few episodes now and everyone acts like they dont know then joe doesnt open his beer and everyone thinks hes been replaced when in all reality its kevin who has been replaced😂 and the material hopper breaking and the leaky excavator? Dang thats almost a season ender!

First time posting, have watched every episode so far from start to finish. Not gonna lie, binge watched it to this point in 3 days. Look forward to start Season 3. You guys have gotten me highly interested in buying my first RC Crawler (as UA-cam Gold is not the only video I have been watching). Wish I lived in Canada....Not too far away from Alberta though. These machines are hydraulic but they don't produce any heat like a full-size machine. Hydraulics don't work very well when they are cold.
I noticed the pay was sticking to your hoppers, I work in construction in Maine and we have the same issues so we found a plastic lining that allows material to slide in the cold weather. Also on the trommel we have a brush system that helps keep it clean, it runs off the drum itself so no need for extra motors. By the way I love watching all your shows keep up the awesome work
