- For 26 weeks we have been battling the elements and washing dirt come Rain, Hail, Sun and Snow! UA-cam GOLD has happened no matter what and the payoff is about to come to fruition! Our original goal this season was 3/4 of a Troy Ounce.. which is 22 grams. Today, we sit at 122 grams.. PLUS WHATEVER WE MINE TODAY! I think there is more than enough to ask the guys.. if there was enough for someone very special in our group. Krazy Joe is one of our longest running actors on RC ADVENTURES, a Brother, and a Viewer favourite!
For Months we have all joked about Krazy Joe getting his GOLD TOOTH from all the UA-cam GOLD we gathered, and with the boys all agreeing that this was the right way to go - I found a very good dentist named Dr Sean Freiberg at "Health First Dental", in Calgary Alberta, Canada. Dr Freiberg is an excellent Dentist who has a thriving practice built on years of trust and high-end dentistry. For those of you who don't know...
"#youtubegold" is a 100% Canadian #parody of the popular Gold Shows we see on TV such as #goldrush, yukon gold and others.. Yes, we are mining real gold.. and yes, we are full grown men using tiny machines to mine the gold. We are currently in the Second Season, and this is episode 21.
There is irony in all of what you see..is most of this show is all choreographed. THiS IS THE INTERNET.. Do not believe everything you see..! heh...
Almost all scenarios are staged, acting out our characters, comedy.. etc.. In fact, we are not even working for efficiency, as we are a group of hobbyists who are more interested in entertaining our audience.. than "actually getting gold". Being an RC show, we use as many RC's as possible to achieve this. Again, all we are doing is goofing off for a good Saturday of fun.
A few of the things that are not staged is our friendship, the laughter, camaraderie, and of course.. THE GOLD! (Yes, it's real pay dirt). The true Gold is the experience we get as friends, what we hope the viewers get watching a group of goofballs entertain them with some very cool toys. One mans hobby, is another's entertainment on UA-cam!

Welcome back to the critically un-acclaimed, non award winning, pun laden, innuendo packed UA-cam sensation known as GOLD, UA-cam GOLD.
With the cold of winter moving in and the wear and tear of a long hard season starting to take its toll on man and machine, the crew strive to reach the dizzying heights and ever changing season goals set by the mine boss. Have the crew become victims of their own unexpected success or have they bitten off more than they can chew? Even with the seasons end fast approaching many questions still remain unanswered and new questions continue to be asked.
Questions like:
Why do I make these silly voice over type comments?
Will Krazy Joe ever find glory at the bottom of his now moist, wet hole and will it dry out before next episode?
Can Rookie continue hitting the sweet spot when loading the conveyer?
Will Jim/Kevin ever reveal his true form?
Will site safety ever move up from #21 the list of concerns?
Will the crew manage to get the magic smoke back into the esc of their downed dozer?
Can I continue to come up with the questions no one is asking?
Will the hoe's see out the season or will they be the next to go down?
Will the mine boss continue to get his hands dirty?
Will the crew find a way to solve their shrinking, sticking, leaking, moisture related issues?
I'm running low on question I may need to reuse some of the previously asked questions?
Will Rookie find the extension cord for the heat gun?
Will the mines budget allow for new batteries for the scales?
How much gold will remain after the dentist finishes with Krazy Joe?

Which is sad, because that's the whole shtick of the show. If the Hoffman's didn't fail, there wouldn't be any show. Hence why they never show Tony Beetz mining every week, nobody wants to see a smooth running and successful operation.

Great episode! I loved the miniature hazmat pads to pick up the spilled hydraulic fluid. Only thing missing was the 3d printed 55 gallon open top drum for the dirt to go into.

I don’t know if you know this or if any other commenters have brought it to your attention but the play list for season 2 is reversed. It starts at the final episode and works to the first episode if you try and let it auto play.

So I just watched the entire series (both seasons) as I was out with a cold - and I kept thinking to myself... man I wished I lived in an area that had gold... then I decided to look up if there was gold in my state - and lo and behold, it ends up that the first ever "gold rush" in the US actually occurred about 100 miles down the road (North Carolina), in 1799 after a 12 year old kid found a 17 pound (7.7kg) gold nugget in a creek near his house. Yes I'm a little embarrassed about the lack of historical knowledge about my state, but I must have missed that day in elementary school. Really enjoyed this series - and here's hoping you guys stumble upon a 17 pound gold nugget next season to help, um, ease your current budget crisis. Cheers!
