I did that exact thing, I own a Vtwin 750cc Shadow, but went out and bought a new GTS300ie last year and I use it all the time, still ride the Shadow out now and then, but the Vespa is so easy, convenient and fun and gets used loads more! Nice vid.
Im buying this machine in a couple months, undecided on the matt black or the shiny black atm! have you added anything else to it, would love to see an update! Great scoot mate! Thanks
Despite getting rid of the Akrapovic exhaust (ridiculously noisy, probably illegal) and fitting a Vintalogy exhaust, yep, it's almost as noisy. So yours is quiet, what's the secret? Big super bikes are quieter than this, what's going on?
thanks 4 the review ... i looking into getting 1 here in michigan , how do you see this scoot as a daily commuter ?....do you feel it would last and be trusted doing daily 60 mile runs 6 days a week and some 200 milers like 5 times a mth in all weather ?...tks and peace
I am hoping to see an update?? And hope you are doing okay-I read one of the comments that you may have been hurt 9 years ago? Praying things are well. When I checked your channel for an update, I noticed the wide swing in view counts!! The Vespa is stealing the show!
Omg that's the exact one I wanna get. Plz tell me how much it was, how many gallons is the tank, what mileage, and how fast it top speed? Thanks in advance for ur time!
Very sorry to hear of your accident, I hope you make a full recovery. Over a year ago since I bought this machine, it certainly has its plusses, a pleasure to ride, keeps up with traffic even 2 up, and very reliable too, but there have been complaints about the noise. I guess what I really want is a traditional 2 stroke Vespa with a manual gearbox as I don't think the 300 really fits in with other mod scooters. And that's what it's all about. Good luck anyway, take care.
Very noisy, really? I own the same bike, 2010 model, and it's so quiet I'm thinking of putting an aftermarket muffle on it to make it louder! Yeah it's heavier than a 125, because it's more than twice the bike! Did you not ride it before you bought it? Maybe you should throw it in the bloody hedge so someone else can enjoy it. Then again, maybe you're just joking....
I really wanted one of these, so bought one. Sad to say I'm becoming disillusioned very quickly. In its favour, fast, well built, looks good. Not in its favour, heavy, and very noisy. Too noisy to ride, I wanted it to sound like a scooter, not a motorcycle. My wife's chinese Tommy 125 is more fun to ride than this noisy thing. I've a good mind to throw the bloody thing in a hedge and walk away.

Ive just put a deposit on 2012 model, gonna pick it up next week, Its gonna come with the side chrome and rear chrome rack, will post vids asap!
A friend of mine has a 250 model and has over 30,000 miles on it. If you keep up the maintenance on it, it'll last a lifetime.

Thank you for sharing.
What is the largest square box that can fit in your floorboard?
Can it fit a 14x14x14 (inches) box weighing 15 kilos?
Realy you can get up to like 75-90 depending on weight
How have you found reliability mate? Any problems? Looking at this machine myself.
how big is the tank? what mpg does it get?
icbm36 70+mpg and I think holds 2.5 gallons
1redarmy1@Go with the Matte black
I ride my GTS300ie about 100 miles every day. You need a full motorcycle license.
Gas
take off the rubber mat. that will scratch up your paint.
Okay, you must be joking.
I would love one of these but they are just to expensive for what they are
wwwNooBcom $7200 in the states

It just go's 70mph? What a shame you should tune it. My Vespa LX50 4T 2V goes 55mph HAHA so you're should go like a lot more xD
jackieboy8 now they are limited to 82 mph(2020)?
