It's traditionally made with meat, vegetables, and potatoes and it tastes delicious! In this video I’m at the home of Jure and Natalia, Marta’s parents, to learn what peka is and how it is made in a traditional komin.

Peka is eaten traditionally across Croatia. Usually only on special occasions outside of the traditional area (Dalmatia and the coast).
I remember when I was a kid, we used to prepare Peka for every special occasion, be it a birthday, holiday or a larger family gathering.

It was a real privilege for me to be invited for a Pekan dinner. Who would have thought that meat and potatoes could be prepared to taste so delicious? Are you still in Croatia?
