CJ Hazard - Melancholy Monday

I wrote this song during one of those low-energy Mondays.
The audio system in a car that I was trying to sell crapped out, generating a several thousand dollar estimate for the intricate repairs.
In addition, some plans of mine were not panning out the way I had hoped, and I found myself thinking negative thoughts about money and time.
Luckily for me, I have this wonderful woman that my thoughts can default to. When I reset my mental grid, images of her begin to fill the empty spaces, and my soul is able to defy the mental gravity of all of my petty problems.
This song attempts to encapsulate the feeling of melancholy turned to contentedness when a more positive perspective is remembered. Enjoy :-)
The electric guitar is a 1974 Gibson Les Paul Special 55. The acoustic guitar is a Yamaha SLG200s. The microphone is a Neumann KMS 105. The bass is a G&L SB-2.
