Thank you for the informative video! I have had my ssb bar (same one you have) for years. I bought it for the same reasons (lack of mobility-pain in shoulders and wrist with traditional bar). Despite having it for so long I never thought of storing it the way you did! Thats very clever. I train in my garage and theres not much space, the ssb can be a real pain to take out and set up in my rack. I have the SAME power rack as well. I had been storing it in a stand up position in a yes 4 all bar holder, I am going outside and setting it up like yours! Thanks again!
Great review! My bar came today. Knocked off a few reps--the quads! Definitely hit those! And thanks for the tip on storage of the barbell on the upper part of the rack. Some of our garage gyms are so crowded they are accidents waiting to happen! :)
thanks this is a game changer i ordered one. my elbows, limited shoulder mobility have prevented me from working out my lower body which doesn't make sense. i've been advised to fix my elbow and shoulders first before i can squat which is absurd. i just want to squat!!!
Excellent review! Looking forward to more videos. At age 66 just started using the safety bar at my gym to do squats. Hadn’t done squats in over 30 years and now it’s a different ball game with the safety bar.
Awesome! Glad the SSB is working well for you! Recent videos have been heavily automotive, but there are also more fitness equipment reviews started and on the way.
Thanks, I appreciate it! I’ve been looking forward to making this review and appreciate the support. I have a few more fitness reviews planned for this winter.
Just ordered a safety squat bar myself. I tried working on my shoulder mobility for months but all I ended up with was shoulder pain. I can barely do highbar squats because of the shoulder rotation pain, so of course low bar and front squats were totally out of the question. Hoping this lets me get back to doing squats.
Bought one of these after surgery helped with mobility to grab the handles but had to sell again as any pressure on the area causes constant pain to flare up. Great post though. 👍🏼
Great review! Titan is much cheaper than Rogue or that really expensive European company model. I’ve also been thinking about the landmine attachment/ squat. Any thoughts?
Thanks! I have not used a landmine attachment. I don’t have room to use it in my home gym, and luckily I have enough options that I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything without it.
Awesome barbell! My gym has an American Barbell V1 SSB that's really tight on the head the the padding in the back leaves something to be desired. Even with this, it feels soooo much better than standard barbell squats. My low back now cries in joy instead of crying in pain 😂. Anyone with long femurs needs to be doing this.
No problem! I have posted a review video for pretty much everything in my home gym. They are in the “Fitness Reviews” playlist. Cage: ua-cam.com/video/hJl5NCodRh8/v-deo.html amzn.to/35Q1QvB J-hooks: ua-cam.com/video/fBGagP7baRY/v-deo.html amzn.to/3fKfar3
I would personally recommend using whichever is more comfortable for your joints and body mechanics. A low bar squat would be literally impossible for me. My joints don’t bend like that. High bar squats are painful on my elbows, wrists, and shoulders. The safety squat bar results in no joint pain. If you experience shoulder/wrist/elbow pain, I highly recommend trying a safety squat bar. If a barbell is pain-free, I would still recommend trying a safety squat bar if you get an opportunity, just to see how it feels and if you like it.
Thanks for the feedback. I did intentionally make it very basic for SSBs in general, geared towards someone who has no idea what a SSB is, and not a detailed review of the Titan V2 bar. Thanks for the input, I appreciate it.

Great thorough review! Can't wait for the lat pulldown and mag grip knockoffs review!
Thanks! Those two are definitely still on the list for this winter. I am looking forward to making them and have not forgotten about them!
Really good video. Glad I found your channel.

You’re going to love it! I can also squat a lot deeper with it. It was an excellent purchase.
Squat with the safety squat bar seems like a more natural movement to me
Nice! Definitely for me too.

Great video 👍
Thanks! Very much appreciated!

i bought the elite fts... SSBs are game changers.
Nice review,I bought the SSB,Multi grip BB and open end trap bar from Titan fitness. The Rouge Ohio Bar is going in the corner.
Nice! I definitely get it. I see a trap bar in my near future as well.

The safety squad bar is the way. I could never go back to a straight barbell.
Have you ever tried or heard of VEVOR Safety Squat Bar, 1,500 can you compare it with the TITAN bar
I have not, but I will add it to my list of future video ideas!
Can you please link the squat rack and extra j hooks you got to store the safety bar squat . Thanks :)

I got a Titan bar. Using it vs avoiding straight bar and not doing squats means gains vs no gains at all.
For sure!
it is very good for good mornigs to
Should I replace barbell squarts with safety bar

@@HowtoandReviewsOfficial my point iwhich is more good when to come up from squart position
Video was interesting but I never thought I would say this it was almost too dumbed down...
Thanks for the feedback.

If the ends were on bearings the bar would be more likely to roll off your back.
Nice review and I like your a bit of a joker too :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
300$ is a lot
Sale season is near. I would sign up for their emails and check back for holiday sales. Facebook Marketplace may have something.
