Ive heard the concept of Jesus showing up in the old testament so many times over the years. I thought it seemed like an odd conclusion and I dont recall being given reasons for why folks thought that. What great subject. 👍
I move to say that Micheal is the chief of the angels. And another character or JESUS. This is why in Daniel the delayed Angel needed Michael's help. None other than The Holy One of Isreal.
Somebody comments this on every single video even though we are often applauded for letting the guests speak, which we certainly do. I can only assume you didn't actually watch the interview.
Why are people afraid to speak on Ellen Whites writtings? She is the most published female writer in the past 200 years. I must conclude the Veneration of Sunday?
GENESIS 18 is a Theophany. All three “men” are worshipped by Abraham equally. Don’t confuse the sent angels in the next chapter 19 with the three “men” mentioned in chapter 18. Everyone makes that mistake.
I'm curious (really, I've not decided where I land on this) where you think in the text that the "men" in chapter 18 stop being a theophany and become different beings in chapter 19. Where is the transition specifically in the text, or do they stay the same?
Hi MYSTERY B. I never said they changed. I said people make the mistake of thinking the 2 angels in chapter 19 are 2 of the men who are mentioned in chapter 18. They are not.
@@MysteryBibleOn Again these verses v22, v33 all reflect the Triune Godhead or Trinity Doctrine. Example: Jesus came from Heaven sent of the Father, but the Father remained in Heaven correct.? Well in Gen 18 one can stay and talk to Abraham while the other 2 leave.
LUKE 24:27..LUKE 24:44 Jesus says the O.T. Scriptures were written about HIMSELF..not Jesus and the Father. Jesus is the God of the O.T. EXAMPLE : Jesus spoke to the Father in Genesis 1:26 but Jesus created all things.
Thoroughly enjoyable discussion on a very important subject. Thank you!
Great podcast guys, very thought provoking. Big Blurry fan here, heading over there next 😊
Thank you gentlemen, I enjoy your podcast.

BTW, Genesis 18 is an example of our O.T. Trinity doctrine along with being a Theophany.!
I commented Jacob before the panel brought it up. Just for reference sake.
Ellen G White wrote on Angel of The Lord.

ISAIAH 48:16,17 is O.T. Trinity doctrine. These verses from Isaiah are in perfect harmony with LUKE 1:30,35.
Let the guest speakers speak , stop interrupting

The " Angel " That Jacob wrestled with or Prayed to. I see as non other than Christ.
Ellen white also wrote that Melkesidek was none other than Jesus.

All 3 “men” that Abraham sees in Chapter 18..are an example of the Triune Godhead in our O.T.
So is ISAIAH 48:16,17 an example of the Trinity.
@@billyabongg1845 Interesting. So what's your take on Genesis 18:22, 18:33, and 19:1? Different beings in 19:1 or the same as in 18:22?
