Sometimes, when I watch RC, I forget he is no longer in this world. Hearing this, knowing he has now SEEN these glories - wow! It gives me goosebumps. How I long to see Jesus! I am so weary and sick of this evil, Christ-hating world. And sick and tired of my own sin. How long, O Lord? How long?

Just letting many know that it is impossible to repent unless your saved/ born again. Repentance is not a work we do to earn salvation, No one can repent unless God pulls that person to Himself John 6:44, Repentance is something God gives---> it is only possible because of his grace Acts 5:3, 11:18
No one can repent unless God grants repentance, All of salvation including repentance and faith, is the result of God drawing us, opening our eyes and changing our hearts. God's longsuffering leads us to repentance 2 Peter 3:9, Romans

You know what gets me about Unitarians? They say: "How can YAHushuah be God when He calls His Father God?" And so they reason and intellectualize physically, ignoring the abundant testimony of Scripture, presuming YAHushuah to be some exalted created being! Look, if a man has a son, is that son any less human than his father? Let that sink in for a moment! The angels, although called Ben Elohim, Sons of God, are created, but not so with YAHushauh! YAHushauh is of the Father, not created but brought forth. YAHushua also created all created things, including angels!

He could have started earlier in Genesis, when God walks with Adam and Eve in the garden, I believe thata refrence to the Son, and that the one who promised the seed of the woman would crush the head of the serpent, it was Christ who made the promise then much later kept it.

May I ask if The Angel of the Lord quite clearly is the Lord Jesus Himself, but is the Archangel Michael the Lord Jesus Christ too?
Can someone authoritative please answer my query? I really would like to know as I reverently heard a sermon claiming the Archangel Michael is the Lord Jesus Himself.
Acts 7, Stephen does not recognized the angel as Jesus, but still referring to an angel. He would say it was the Son of Man if Stephen knew it.

Jeffrey Dahmer, the serial killer who murdered and ate his victims, believed in Jesus as his savior in his jail cell before he died. He even had a ministry in jail where he shared the Gospel.
John 3:16 KJV: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Heaven is not a place for “good” people. Heaven is for whosoever believes in Jesus. That’s God’s amazing grace, and if you don’t like that God would let a “bad” guy into Heaven, you don’t know the Bible or God.
God said there isn’t one good person. We’re all sinners. Bad behavior doesn’t keep you out of Heaven, dying in your sins because you never believed in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus alone does.
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
This goes to show you that it doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve done, the Power and Glory of God’s grace is sufficient to save anyone. And once you’re saved you’re always saved.
Ephesians 4:30
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Just believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and you’re saved. No attending church, no getting religious, no pretending to be holier than thou. The Bible is clear. Just believe to be saved.
Doing ANY kind of works to be saved is a slap in the face of God. You’re telling him that His free gift of salvation, Jesus dying on that cross, was not sufficient to save you.
Faith + Nothing = Salvation

See, Jesus loves sinners. He loves them so much he died for them to forgive them of their sins, allowing us to enter Heaven for eternity if you’ll believe that.
See, the thief on the cross was a sinner his whole life, just like you and I. He believed on Jesus in the last minutes of his life, and thus Jesus told him he would be in paradise today, which is where all the Old Testament saints were until Jesus died.
See, Jesus dined with the prostitutes and sinners, and the religious Pharisees looked down their noses at him for it. Because they were self righteous and didn’t understand why Jesus came, much like yourself.

I love RC Sproul, but that was the weakest and least informative and least clear ‘teaching’ on the Angel of the Lord I have seen.
But at least he’s heard of Christophanies; so many Christians including famous preachers haven’t. This should be common knowledge for every Christian.

Not only is the Angel of the Lord actually Jesus, but there is a person who appears as a man many times throughout the Old Testament and is called: the Word of God. That is also Jesus. That’s why John starts his Gospel talking about the Word. John didn’t invent it - Jews had already known about the walking and talking Word of God for hundreds of years.

Amen! The topic of 'Jesus in the OT' has been my main focus of study over the last few years. "Before Abraham was, I am. Abraham saw my day & rejoiced" 🤔. I thought to myself "U cant just say that. I should be able to find You in Abraham's story". Inevitably, it lead me to seeing what is said of The Word & Angel of the Lord. This One is distinct from YHWH & also YHWH in visible form. I caught it in the story of Abraham where the Word *appears* to Him and makes the promises, then later on Moriah, The Angel of the Lord appears and stops Abraham's from sacrificing Isaac to Him! The Angel & the Word are the same, the preincarnate Jesus (The Messenger & the Message of YHWH). Isaiah 9:6 Bible, Targums + Septuagint; the Messiah is the Angel & He is El Gibbor (Almighty God) in flesh.
