    I always thought this was probably the best Ordre of them all. Heroic, emotional, sensitive, uncanny, even bleak at times... Every piece has its own character and the whole ensemble makes a very cohesive and compelling listening experience.

    How stunning! Greetings from North Dakota! I enjoyed your interpretation so much I decided to learn these pieces myself. Any tips?

      Thank you so much! I'm delighted that you are delving into this incredible music. Couperin's writing is challenging to realize on the piano, but I have found that it is sometimes helpful to play the ornaments as in Ravel's tombeau de Couperin- by holding the principal note rather than trying to repeat it in a literal fashion. The second escape is crucial in soft passages with ornaments for that reason. Enjoy!
