I decided to get more deeply into the Etude in Thirds (I just think the piece has a special melancholy feeling that's hard to put into words) and have been listening to all of the UA-cams. This is a really good one - it's sensitively played and largely faithful to the markings in the score. Well done.
Today, being the 100th Anniversary of Debussy's death, Jeffrey played the 8 Etudes at Old St. Mary's in SF. I was there and loved it! Thanks Jeff - monumental performance.
Check Tony Hymas' tempo; sounds more natural, sounds more like how it was intended to be played in my humble opinion. You are an amazing player; probably many, many years of dedication. God bless you

GREAT!!!!!! A little slower than other performers, but with magnificently deep detail in every step. Beautiful!
He is embodying the musical aesthetics of Debussy , and unrivaled, and outclassing
Played with great imagination and grace just as Debussy no doubt intended. Never heard them better performed.
Thank you so much! This music is very close to my heart
